We have reached the climax of the European football season as Liverpool take on Real Madrid in the Champions League final this Saturday. James and Hoggy preview the game in Paris, looking to see where the game could be won and lost, as well as predicting what will happen on the night.

There is also a discussion on the benefits of the new European football structure this season, and why the Conference League has improved UEFA competitions.

Remember to send us your predictions for Saturday's final!

I'd like Liverpool to do it but based on how Real Madrid have went about their business both Domestically and in Europe I can't quite see past them. I think Modric will again be an absolute Magician and boss the game, Bale to be a surprise off the bench And score. Finally I think it'll be 3 - 1 RM

Probably the least interested I’ve ever been in a European Cup final. It’s a competition only 6 teams can win and while the football can be sublime it doesn’t have the magic of the other European contests

Good points re the benefits of having 3 European competitions. Remember when Celtic was papped out the Europa and their fans' attitude was "Oh, well, we'll just win the Conference...." How did that work out for them?

Good show, thanks James & Hoggy. Interesting discussion re the euro tiers. I'd like Liverpool to win, principally as revenge for when Ramos deliberately took out Salah during the last final they contested. But Real have defied the odds & overcome the insurmountable so many times this season for it to be luck and it just seems to have that 'name already on the trophy' vibe to it.
