I don’t want t be left with a bad feeling about Allan McGregor, so my hope is a holiday settles him on spending more time with his money. Maybe in time he’ll decide to go into coaching, but that’s for another day. Sakala is a squad player, not a first choice. We need investment in the squad, end of story. Real investment, not a Ross Wilson special, like Bacuna, Simpson or a crocked Aaron Ramsey. We’ve made good money this season, so it should be used to strengthen the team. End of story.

McLaughlin is a safe pair of hands and he commands his box which in turn breeds confidence with the defence. I love MacGregor but his errors cost us the league last year while on the flip side his saves in Europe helped us reach the final. I can confidently predict that we won’t ship as many stupid goals next season.

Adam, did you say that you thought the promotion review would hopefully lead to B teams being promoted into the SPFL? I was under the impression that it was more about ditching the play-offs to allow an easier route for LL teams into the SPFL, but nothing to do with B teams getting promoted.
