Bit harsh on Kenny McLean I feel, just because Mctominay, mcginn and Gilmour play ahead of him doesn't make him a bad player could be the no8 we need

I have to say I disagree with Kev - there are good players within the SPL but the gap between rangers and the rest of clubs is much bigger now in my opinion than it was in past. I think as club we are looking for much better players than Lewis Ferguson, Ross Stewart, Charles-Cool etc. There are some good players for example Josh Doig, Calvin Ramsay, Alex Cochrane etc who are maybe at our level but could be if we developed them. I agree with guys Balogun, Firth we’re at the point where they needed to leave and I think McGregor should be let go. I was hoping to see more bowman deals completed before now, I was hoping that we would pick up good players of free transfers but we all know the club is working hard.

I think we'll replace Cedric Itten but It looks like with basically swapping Balogun for Souttar and the 1 yr extensions for Arfield and Davis are just a safety net kinda call , quality signings are solely dependent on Champions lge group stage qualifucation

I keep hearing about quotas for European squads in these pods, but the UEFA rules are 4 club homegrown players plus 4 country trained players. We have Souttar, Jack, Arfield and Wright who satisfy the nation trained criteria; unless we're resigning guys like John Fleck or Barrie McKay who came through our own youth system then we don't need to be signing Scottish players purely to satisfy quotas. I've never seen it with Lewis Ferguson; other than being a spectacular diver (which VAR will stop) he has no really noticeable attributes. He's similar to Kenny McLean; nobody would seriously want us to sign him if it wasn't for his last name. And on his last name, I wouldn't trust his dad and his uncle not to start leaking stuff to the press, which is another reason I don't want Lewis Ferguson anywhere near our dressing room.
