Who Are You? - The Patrons - Jim Martin - Part 2

Jim joins Alan again this week, with the final part of his amazing story of following the Gers since the 1950s.

The guys discuss amongst other things :-

An amazing night at the Majestic Ballroom in Hope Street Glasgow in 1968 when young Jim plucked up the courage to ask his future wife to dance. 51 years of wedded bliss, two sons and a young grandson later, things turned out very well methinks.

On the Rangers front, Jim shared wonderful memories throughout the journey from the 1970s, right through to the current day. Covering so many great Gers Managers, fantastic games and legendary players starting from Willie Waddell’s side right through to Gio’s current team of 2022.

Thanks for bringing us this pod Alan👍 Please pass on many thanks to Jim for sharing his long & illustrious Rangers journey with us. Lovely to hear him reminiscing about it, particularly the more historic games; no videos, few pictures & books exist. So it is by tales of experience passed down the generations that keep these events alive. 👍👍👍Thanks Jim

Wonderful stuff, I'm sure you could easily have made it ten parts and there would have been plenty left in the tank. Many thanks to you both for bringing this to us Recording these shows with older bears is a real time capsule for future generations, it makes me wonder how many other patrons there are out there who can recall the Symon era or might have parents who can. I hope there are more you can reach
