All the way from the Hong Kong RSC, Scott joins Andy & Rob on this week's episode with the lighthearted view from Bears abroad.

Scott's dad Billy played for Rangers, but he tells us how despite being from staunch royalty, his family has split loyalties. The lads catch up on all things Rangers and what their expectations are for the close season, while we learn that the correct term for somebody whose hobby is doing jigsaws is not 'weirdo'.

I actually went onto the Rangers shop to look for one! Surely only a matter of time until Castore produces one…..

Great pod, really interesting discussions, thanks Andy, Rob & special guest Scott. Hope your feeling better soon Rob, a good jigsaw will pass the recovery time whilst keeping you away from the far more dangerous socials / internet / Wm Thorn specials! We have to count this season as a successful one. The Scottish Cup after a 13yr wait. Making the final of the Europa for only the second time, ever! You guys discussed many, many valid reasons which could have affected why we didn't win the league, however we also have to mention VAR fixable ref shockers, the Snydey Cup fiasco (not a typo!!), fixture pockling of 3rd OF game, sheer additional playing time & most importantly our biggest achillies heel - individual, unforced errors! The real key is the sheer number of reasons!! Any one of those would be the excuse by any other team (inc them!) for an under achievement. We had a LOT to cope with off the park. We lost 3 games, we were 'beaten' in 1, away to them. Re-watch the last Ibrox game, I have - twice. Not a horrorshow, sack the manager performance. Disastrous result, yes but tactics & play no. The other 2 losses were individual unforced errors costing goals & points. Same with draws, unforced errors. Examine 20th Feb. 2 x VAR / ref issues. A last min home pen against them, 2 x away pens denied us. Scored and that alone wipes out the 4 point spread. The goal difference is another matter and your 'we need another striker' points covered that well. Great show as ever Heart & Sand 👍

Cheers Gary, there is no doubt it was a remarkable season. Despite the many frustrations, it will be one that all of us will look back on in amazement in years to come. Now, back to my <> jigsaw....

Before I heard the pod, I heard from Rob that Scott was talking about his jigsaw addiction. Foolishly, I then posted on one of our mutual WhatsApp groups that I was in the middle of a 1,000 piece jigsaw called The 1980’s. Finally listened to the pod there and now can’t believe I’m going to be seen as a fellow Dissectologist. It’s the first jigsaw I’ve done since I was about 10…honest!
