Simon is joined by a full panel of guests this week as things start to every so slightly heat up down Ibrox way.

The lads discuss:

  • Allan McGregor contract renewal
  • Morelos, Aribo and Kamara linked with moves away.
  • Lewis Mayo loaned to Kilmarnock.
  • Zak Lovelace set to sign a bosman.
  • And finally they discuss the strong link with Croatian international striker Antonio Colak

Fair play to you guys for producing content based on our transfer business. I look forward to your new series: 'Great Philosophical Treatise of Joseph Barton'.

I’m sitting in a corner rocking back and forth saying: “It’ll kick into gear soon”

Hahaha. I do enjoy listening none-the-less.

Hopefully McGregor is 3rd choice: he is done

Good show lads but I need a transfer. Being retired is bloody murder. At least being at work takes away 9 or 10 hours from each day of constantly refreshing FF and Twitter hoping too see some positive transfer news.

Colak at a couple of million quid is a no brainer. Experienced striker with decent pedigree, even if 3rd choice at Ibrox, is a good deal.

The GK situation is very strange. It was noticeable last season that McGregor had regressed physically and looked every inch the 40-year-old goalkeeper. This unfortunately highlighted his deficiencies even more and in turn, IMO, shouldn't have been offered another year. What I can't understand is that if at 34, McLaughlin wasn't deemed good enough to be our no.1 in the two years he's been here, why should he be now? If we are at the stage where players inherent positions in the team, what will happen is we will stand still or even regress as a team. A new goalkeeper that's better than we currently have should be a priority. Unfortunately, this board is giving off 'biscuit tin' vibes.

Unbelievable to suggest that a legend like McGregor who last season showed his age and cost us games should be number one choice. If he had been playing with another side and it was suggested that he come to Rangers for the forthcoming season and start in front of McLaughlin it would have been rightly ridiculed.

Gary Smith

McGregor is a Rangers legend. However if he is number one next year It has disaster written all over it

If it wasn’t for injuries Furuhashi would have easily had 25+ goals in the league last season. We need someone who can match those sort of numbers (easier said than done I know)
