Who Are You? - The Patrons - Alan Dirom (Patreon)

On this week’s show, two Alan’s are definitely better than one. As Alan Dirom joins Alan B to share his story following Rangers and non footie dimensions.

The guys discuss, amongst other things:-

⁃ Alan’s childhood, growing up in a small village near Lockerbie, right through to his current role as Fire & Rescue Service Watch Commander in Dundee.

⁃ Being fortunate to start attending Rangers games at the start of that magnificent 92/93 season.

⁃ Memories of so many wonderful Gers players, goals and games throughout the years.

⁃ Alan’s love of Del Piero and most of all Super Ally.

⁃ Mark Hateley supporter lookalikes, illegal Ibrox pitch adventures, views on H&H and hopes for the 22/23 season.

⁃ Fantastic Oasis, Kasabian, Kooks, and The Stone Roses gigs.

⁃ The “tough” University life in Edinburgh, all those cheap drinks followed by two and a half years travelling around Australia, New Zealand, Thailand and Dubai (jealous Alan B!)

⁃ A chance meeting between the two Alan’s in Spain, several brilliant nights before and after the final, occasional shandies - that Barceló Hotel tray accident and so much more……..

This has been the 78th Who Are You? show to date. I’ve had lots of fun recording them and hopefully you will have enjoyed them too.

I would really like to keep the series going, and whilst I do like the sound of my own voice. It definitely seems to work far better with a guest. 😉

If you would like to join me, just send an e-mail to alangbradley2@gmail.com and we can agree date/time to suit for recording.

Thanks

Alan
