Who’s the guy with the black strip on? Thanks as always guys but another hard listen. Cheers

Tbf, Alex Ferguson missed a Manchester derby in 2000 to attend his sons wedding. 😃

Jack Mair

Moshni I just remember Ian Holloway calling him the Grimsby Van Dijk 🙈

Dylan Brand

Totally forgot during this time period Sandaza got sacked for that prank call and Charles Green claiming he would have done the same to Messi

Adam

Arnold Peralta was Ally's ham-fisted attempt to replicate that mob's success with Emilio Izaquirre, who it has to be said was on fire for them at the time. Both Honduran internationalists, I can sort of see the logic there but when does that ever really work? If memory serves Ally even tried to play him at fullback at one point, I guess I will find that out in the coming months.

Anyone remember Jim Traynor interviewing Ally on RTV around this time? Most of it car crash stuff, including Ally stating the difference in fitness between part-time and full-time football is "minimal" 😐

Good show guys. Thanks David, Stuart & Rob. Phew! A spend-tastic summer for sure. Some good, some bad & some indifferent out of that lot. I remember thinking, & discussing with fellow fans, that this seemed to be Ally putting together his team to get us back into the top flight. Seemed like a good plan at the time, with some very decent players too. We'll be reminded just how that panned out in the next few episodes 😆😉

Paul Dunnachie

I think he played in a pre-season game at Bristol City, which was well attended and a super day out. I never took to Moshni at all - he was a penalty waiting to happen with scrappy fouls and shirt pulling all the time. Over that period we really seemed to enjoy a cult figure at center half who was limited but got stuck in and we forgave the catastrophes for it though.
