I realise I'm in the minority but I've got no interest in the Atlantic League. When it's been mooted in the past there's been talks of including clubs from the Republic of Ireland - as well as Aberdeen, who would be utterly pointless in any sort of breakaway group - and RTE being involved and it's just not something I'm interested in. Still think our only real hope of not being stuck in the SPFL will be if UEFA loses a legal challenge to cross border leagues and Sky then push for us to be included in the English set up.

Obviously I'm pleased this has happened but I saw that Manchester United were after Arnautovic and might have to pay up to 15 million. I'd imagine they see him as a short term target as he's 34 or something. It amazes me that if they needed a sort term fix why wouldn't they take a punt of Alfie. I'm not saying he's a top 6 EPL player but he'd definitely be a better option that Arnautovic. They'd also be able to get their money back when they tried to resell in a years time. Similar to what Liverpool did with Davies and his wages will be less. Why do u think a team in the EPL haven't tried harder to get Morelos? He's proven in Europe that he can compete against the best. EPL teams spent 20million of players with 3 or 4 games behind them these days. Also Dortmund unfortunately lost their striker to illness and r apparently after Umir Sadiq for far more that it would cost to get Morelos and I'm not having any chat that he's a better player. No real point to my post but I just find it baffling that a club hasn't tried harder to get him. Not that I'm complaining about that.

The biggest motivational factor to give the players impetus for tomorrow night is the fact the USG players, and staff were high fiving each other and laughing at the end of the match, wipe that attitude & reaction right off their nappers Rangers!

I don’t think Alfie would cut it in the premier league. Not fit enough. You need to be an athlete in that league. Look at the strikers … Kane, Son, Salah, Vardy. You need pace. Not many teams play to Alfies strengths down there I don’t think.

Thanks for the update David.

It's his goal return. Averages 14 goals per season - in this league! However his Euro average IS off the chart!!👏
