On the topic of shite tactics. Do you think changing the points system would help? Getting 2 points for a score draw for example. Or even getting no points for a 0-0. I just think there's needs to be some incentive to score a fuckin goal

Not a single mention of young Tillman the whole show? I think some of us are struggling to get up for it this season after our euro run last year.

On the dull negative tactics deployed by the likes of Mcinnes I blame the refs for allowing the cynical / persistent fouls and timewasting. The SPFL need to support / force refs to go down hard on this for the good of the game, a 6nil and few red cards at the weekend makes for better watching for the neutral id imagine

There needs to be more condemnation from the media for such crap football. People give the 'I see why teams like Kilmarnock play like that' get out without acknowledging that going to Ibrox or Parkhead and playing shitebag tactics almost never actually works. Even Tess in the pod referenced McInnes 'knowing how to get a result at Ibrox' when his record at Ibrox as a manager is utterly dreadful. P11 W3 D1 L7 F5 A21 Those 5 goals were all scored in 3 wins, he's managed 7 defeats and a draw where his team failed to score and conceded 20 goals across those 7 defeats. 18 goals against in 6 defeats as Aberdeen manager.

Devil's advocate - is 10 points in 11 games really "utterly dreadful" as an away record against a much bigger team? Teams outwith the old firm don't generally average 1.5 points per game across the whole season (only Hearts last season, only Hibs the year before) and most of those are at home - getting almost 1 point per game away at the old firm really is quite decent in that context

Scott Watson

Absolutely As long as timewasting is an effective tactic, teams will keep using it. Allowing it to be an effective tactic tacictly encourages it
