The lads are back with something a wee bit different.

Colin has found the famous Rat Corbett Prank Call tapes and together the lads listen and react to them so if you've never heard them before or haven't for a while you're in for a treat.

They also share some pranks they have been involved in over the years and of course some of FF's best Prankie stories.

Cheers gents. Flight from Heathrow was cancelled so you've just made the bus trip to Gatwick, bearable.

Simon

Some absolute classics. I’d totally forgot about that David Thorne guy. I had to go and read Justin’s Floodlight story again.

John Smith

Rab Corbett was the name of one of the teachers at Paisley Grammar. That’s where the name came from

Bigticket

Rab Corbett, my mate had the tape of him. Hilarious! A prank we done was find someone called Gunn in the phone book, phone up and ask "Is that Mr Gunn?" "Yes", "Bang, you're fired!" and hang up. Other one was phone a random and ask for Mr Wall, Mrs Wall? Any Walls in the house? You better get out, it's about to collapse. Adaptation to Chap door runaway, Chappy excuse. Chap a door and just stand there and make up some pish when someone answers. Stopping a bus as the only one at the bus stop, so it wouldn't otherwise be stopping. Ask the driver how much is it to Africa. Watch him rage and drive off! 🤭

Bigticket

Shit, just heard Jack mention the Mr/Mrs Walls prank. Aye that's an old yin 😂

Craig Fryatt

Yes fame at last as my story gets read on RBR and I still don’t feel bad for the plumber

David Smith

Always thought Mr Corbett sounds like George Bowie

David Scott

Phoned Scotty McClue back in the 90s saying my brother was a drug addict and needed help, was on air live then they passed me to a drug councillor i shat it and hung up 😁

Dene Brooks

The mother prank call nearly killed me wow 😂

Graeme Robb

An ex-colleague called James Hart, once left his work PC unlocked and someone changed his email signature from Hart to Fart. He didn’t notice for months

Simon

Belter. And this one as well “Please design a logo for me. And some pie charts. For free.”

Drew cranston

Hopefully there is a second part with the rest of the rab corbett calls, some crackers missed out like the stuttering taxi call, tower records and the green lord guest house 😂😂

Colin

The ones we didn’t include have language and stuff not suitable for use in 2022.

Jack Shaw

Like Colin said, 20 years ago you could broadcast all of them. It’s a shame - they are really funny 😂

James McSween

Hilarious 😂 one of the funniest shows 🤣

Jack Mair

I prank called my mate from my work phone a few days before Seville. He was in Durham for a fast track passport. On his way home I phoned pretending to be “Oliver roberts” Passport compliance officer at HM passport office in the worst English accent. Proceeded to ask loads of random questions he was so confused when I asked if he could confirm his weight 😂😂he’s quite heavy. MA WEIGHT WIT! Robin Galloway- hector brocklebank was the best😂

Tommy McGowan

What an episode guys, one of the best yet, but so simple 😂 more of the same please!

Tamus

George Bowie awww day long

Tamus

I phoned Scotty mcClue once and told him my dad had 9 brothers and my grandpa wanted another son so he could have his own football team, but my Gran had no inside left..... He laughed like fuq

George Abercrombie

I used to work with my mate who is a Celtic fan. He had a company car and we could use it for errands and stuff. I spotted a Celtic scarf in the back so I took the keys and got it out. I tied it round an old pick axe handle like a torch you’d see in Indiana Jones. I doused it and diesel and lit it up. I walked round to the front of where we worked brandishing the flaming torch. He’d had his son at the match at the weekend. This was his one first Celtic scarf which he’d left in the car. Ooops 🙈🙈

Pondo Sinatra

Loved the John Cena call! 😆 Should do a Jerky Boys follow up show!

Jim Mcewan

The ones you didn’t play I can see why 😂 the guy trying to rent the flat in Paisley wouldn’t go down well now

Jay

Lovely show boys. Very funny 🤣👍🇬🇧

Colin

Aye, we are dafties but not total dafties 😂😂

David Blackbourn

That was brilliant. Those Rab Corbett calls take me back.

Stuart

I woke the kids up laughing listening to this, Mrs wasn't too happy. Brilliant memories. Still answer the phone "a'right pigeon baws" to my big brother, pretty sure that was a Corbett one. Good stuff

Jock Paterson

This is one of the funniest prank calls I’ve ever heard 😂 https://youtu.be/IyxtffB3n3o Link might not work on here, search ‘Ned calls catholic town’ on YouTube, it’s side splitting. American radio host who did a series of calls. I had a Geography teacher for highers we called Jag - James A Goodlad. He was a pretty decent teacher actually but there’s always room to take the piss. Thinking back he actually looked like Jeremy Corbyn during his leadership of a blunt labour, which is kinda fitting as he was a lefty but owned a boat and fancy house etc. I remember after highers a squad of us went out on the piss in Ayr and when the club emptied a 3 or 4 in the morning we decided to have a giggle at Jag’s expense. This was 1989 so we get to the nearest phone box and used the telephone directory in there to find Jag’s number. (Millennials are probably scratching their heads at this point 😄) Sure enough there he was, house number listed in the directory, and we duly dialled the number and as soon as he picked up half a dozen of us were being dicks over the phone to Jag at the back of 3 in the morning. Of course it got old quick and the abuse died down to a level where we could hear not Jag, but Jag’s lovely wife on the other end of the phone saying “oh boys, I hope you’ve had a great night and get super exam results” 😬😔 There wasn’t much said on the way home 😂😂

James Mathieson

Some laugh that pod. Takes me back to my teens. Snudge, that’s a fucking stupid name 😂

Gordon McCool

I want to buy an internet. That nearly finished me. 😂

John Graeme Paterson

Colin what’s the name of the steakhouse place in Orlando you always go to. Going in September 👍

Craig Murray

I nearly crashed the car listening to this as I was laughing so. much, superb guys well done.

Alistair Simpson

I haven't laughed that much for a long time 😂😂😂
