Did FARE not complain about something a few years ago and UEFA didn't take any action? Not suggesting that we're in the clear with UEFA, more that FARE complain even if nothing has actually happened and there's TV evidence that contradicts their complaints. It's an absolute pain trying to get into the Govan Rear and Govan East Corner on European nights, and the stewards are a farce. Would recommend trying to get there for around 7-quarter past if you want to avoid the massive queues etc

If fare aren’t partnered with uefa why are we allowing them in the ground?

Thanks again David, a great Daily Tale, also enjoyed your summation. We are the People been listening since day one and can’t remember or imagine you playing Sister Sledge we are family. Enjoy the game tonight and hopefully the crowd roar the team onto a good win,

The club need to act in our own interests, if the tails wagging the dog again. We had this back in the early nineties, and that was why the SPL was set up in the first place. We know what they brought the the clubs into the fold. We were threatening to not go into the SPL if we won promotion, so they rigged the system. The club need to act behind the scenes, or at least come out and make their position clear in the next week or so. When we had too may clubs in the professional leagues they added more clubs, which was idiotic. We now have to go through everything root and branch again before we get positive change. P.S. FARE will only stop when they’re made to stop. The club need to be on top of them, more than they’re on top of us. If they make a move that’s out of turn, we need to be dragging them through the courts. We had a clean bill of health regarding signing last season, and it was fantastic to see it gone. We don’t need those songs anymore. FARE know that, and they will try it on at some point.

Can’t lie that I’m a bit nervous about tonight. A team that shows us that level of respect in the presser has in turn to be respected but we are the only elite Scottish European club, proven over the last few years and I trust our management team and players to do their very best.

Something in my eye AGAIN after that daily tale. As you lose more and more of your family as you get older, nights like last week, Seville, manchester, tonight even, mean more and more. I can tell you the exact date of the first time we got out of the group stages of the CL with a 1-1 draw against Inter at Ibrox because of a family event that happened that same night. It’s definitely more than just a club for me. Always has been, always will be. M’on the Gers, let’s do this!!!

If anyone was looking at the day trip and are looking for transport and hotels etc for the away leg, I can help! I have my own travel company with the aim of getting Bears to the game. Let me know in here, email me at imacdougall8@googlemail.com or just go to my site and look iainmacdougall.inteletravel.uk

Can’t believe you missed the opportunity to say pity they didn’t fancy a punch up in 1940

Loved the daily tale. Been going to games with my Dad since I was a kid and now at 43 I realise that going to Ibrox and sharing these moments is about more than just football.

You and the daily tale got me again Mr Edgar more tears!! I’m unable to travel up tonight due to work commitments but I don’t miss many home games. My dad is 78 and I travel with someone from Northallerton who is 88. My dad missed nearly all of last season and Maxie all of it. My mum was waiting for an Op and Maxie and his wife had some health issues. Thankfully all of them got over their bouts of illness etc and my dad and Maxie are going again this season and it means so much. My dad was at the Leipzig game and to share that with him was something else. My first memories are of Rangers and my gran telling me who and what they represent and to never forget, they have brought every emotion but by Christ some special ones. WATP 🇬🇧🇬🇧

FARE can fuck off. Biggest game in a decade, supports desperate to go and yet those Haters get a seat and genuine fans miss out.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David. Working far away from home this week but my ticket has found a good home for tonight. Still getting to watch the match, c'mon The Rangers! A really heart warming daily tale 😊

Is it not the case that we could sell our games against Celtic for as much as we get for the entire deal? Basically all our away games and the other matches they show are worthless? I might be making all of that up but was sure there was something along those lines reported recently. I actually do understand the clubs who are in survival mode seeing it as guaranteed income but I really believe if they were willing to risk a little we could drag the whole game up a couple of rungs. Weirdly, I don't think we'd benefit too much from it. There is a glass ceiling in terms of the talent we can attract to the club, so it would only serve to benefit the rest of the clubs in any meaningful way. A really odd business model.
