On Saturday I was on social media saying we play football for the insomniac and this mirrors the GVB personality. I am slowly losing the excitement and anticipation of domestic matches due to the boring football and I really don't know how long the support will put up with this.

Alan Shaw

Andy any chance of 2 tickets for Saturday 🤣🤣

Mark Boyd

Alfie averages 44 games a season. So missing 10-15 games per season average?

Graham McCallum

He reacted to the 3-4 hibs players that surrounded him

Andy McGowan

I think that's a decent return in modern football, my point was more how often is he actually in peak physical condition?

Graham McCallum

I think domestic teams have worked out how to play against us. We need more ideas and different coaching of our forwards

Ian w

I have always said that if big Goldson has a lot of the ball then I know we are struggling. Not a dig at Goldson.

Colin Wieland

Re Alfie. No one has mentioned it but he had a fly kick and connected with a player which went unseen by Collum. That was a yellow. His head had gone and was a liability. With living down south I'm reliant on Sky for league games. Point is well made that we have little tempo. I can't actually remember the last time I saw a live league game which I enjoyed! We are a hard and incredibly frustrating watch.

Totally relate to everything McGowan says on this and he took no prisoners. Deeply concerned by these ‘red flags’ which to me is a year of largely slow and unimaginative domestic performances. You turn up to Ibrox now knowing what your going to get and there’s nothing that indicates any change is in the post. The Feyenoord fan that was interviewed upon the managers arrival warned us about this and it’s materialized.

Tamus

Im done with Morelos

a good listen lads a thought from me is Kent had 2 really good chances and Laurence had 1 really good chance to me we should be free and easy that's not on van Bronckhorst. The side to side to side is a hangover from Gerrard and in Jack, Kamara, Barasic, Goldson etc it's the old guard who are worst for it. The shining lights so far this season have been largely the new signings this is a team in transition let's keep the head and trust Gio a Scottish Cup that looked highly unlikely under Gerrard and a European Final that would NEVER have happened due to his tactical approach have earned the manager time personally I've seen enough to trust him.... Much love We are the people 🇬🇧

The Dominant shows I really enjoy, largely because they're 'my era'' but also they gives a bit of perspective. The view that we sacrificed Europe for winning domestically is a common theme. This team looks a little like the opposite. Dominant also should remind us how slow starters we are traditionally. Anyone who thinks that era was full of scintillating stuff every Saturday wasn't there. We were pretty dour at times but had real quality in certain individuals to break teams down. Don't get me wrong I see the issues as clear as anyone else but we're going a little too far a little too quickly I think. Tillman is quality. He'll provide that something different and Lowry and a few other youngsters I think we'll bring through once our champions league fate is sealed will add freshness. It'll click I think/hope. One thing not said we were seconds away from a win away from home with 9 men. We still got a point with 9 men. We've taken 10 out of a possible 12 and have a crack at the Champions League. We've started a lot worse and ended up with a sack full of silverware.

Agree entirely with the red flags, we seem to have returned to the style of play we came back in January last season with. It took dropping points a run of games and a pasting from Celtic before Gio and the team seemed to react. We’re trying to draw teams out how aren’t going to spring out on us and on the occasions the dross do they take risks that seem to result in goals every time. Would we have scored the hibs equaliser? We would have looked for another pass or floated cross. Gio used to change things in the game and he seems to have stopped doing that as well. On the refs, if the refs are generally all poor how come the regular brain farts where they apply rules with a “it’s rangers” filter on it or don’t apply the rules seems to happen to us 4 or 5 games a season yet I can’t remember the last time Celtic fans had a legitimate claim to complain about a refereeing performance that’s cost them points. The only way to take the refs out the equation is for rangers to lift out levels significantly as we did in the 55 season.

What is the latest with injuries, i may miss it from the pressers. Roofe- what is estimate for his return? Helander - same question? Davies - is he injured, what is injury and how long? Souttar - is he injured or is he taking a bereavement break? If injured, how long? Hagi - estimated to be back November i think?

Adam Copeland

Can the H&H team keep peppering Gio on the question of tempo and urgency. It is spot on. Going on a year now in the SPL. Already cost us the league last year.

hugh yates

The scary thing is we have not played well all season

Gary Shaw

Morelos has us over a barrel….he’s got the thing that Gascoigne had in that the fans will let him away with constantly letting us down because they know he’ll come back, bang a couple of important goals in and everything is rosy again..(I’m guilty of it myself so not having a go at anyone)….I also don’t buy into the “I thought he had removed that from his game” stuff either…..Even in the 55 season,he got 2 retrospective reds which were stonewallers….he missed the game we got knocked out the cup then the Motherwell game were we won it late on….his mentality is shocking….no coincidence all his reds have came against Celtic,Aberdeen,Hibs and Europe….teams would need to be nuts to take a punt on him.

Martin clark

Mad that considering we signed 2 CB in summer, extended goldsons contract but our best CB so far is a centre mid.

Ross Whitehead

I reckon Willie Collum still gets bullied at school and he takes it out on the footballers he referees at the weekends.

Gregg McKee

Agree with Andy the tactics are not working domestically. They did not work in the early part of 2022 last season domestically. Draws killed us in the league last season & if we don’t sort these tactics they are going to do so in this campaign also.

Ross Whitehead

I agree that Jack looks done. His legs have gone and he appears to be towing an invisible caravan anytime he runs. Morelos too also looks like he's running in treacle. Is there an underlying issue with the physical condition of the squad? We seem to be noticeably less fit than last season. WRT the Morelos red card, for me it was a red. I wanted it not to be, but having seen replays of it, he has two swings at the guy and also seems to kick out at him too. Now, what was going on with Alfredo to make him do that? Was it the confrontation with Collum that cause a rush of blood and to lash out? Not trying to excuse Morelos because it was a very stupid thing to do given the circumstances of the game.
