Colin Mathie

At this rate i'll be happy with a point from the 6 games.

Alan Weir

Definitely some pride restored. Put simply, we are in the Champions League without any Champions League quality players.

Russ

Napoli did look class but to be fair they were pretty much just taking shots from outside the box for most of their attempts, Still feels shite.

maccalsa

We played at them for 10 minutes and then quality slowly showed. That was the match. Greegs. Morelos and Jack get passes as does sands (who played well) Other than that we were poor

maccalsa

Thank god we have a complete squad. Cheers gio!!!!! Season over already!!

Spoon

Application better but not sure I saw the quality from the likes of Kent or Arfield that’s required to push us forward. To many still playing within themselves in an attacking sense, however defensively the desire to go win the ball back was great to see from all. It’s a tough spell we are in I don’t have an issue with much of how tonight went, I don’t really have an issue with Ajax beating us all be it we should have had a go, I think it’s the sequence including a hard to take defeat vs them that’s become more than the sun of its parts. I hope he has a real go at weekend, get Tillman central, give Kent a rest and maybe even get some youthful exuberance into tbe first 11. I know others will disagree but I’m confident given time to gel this team Gio will turn it round. Despite a hard few weeks we aren’t that far off in the league and we can’t really think we are a CL team in our first tilt at it in 12 years, the team has to evolve.

Tamus

Guys, genuinely confused, in which universe do you consider bringing on Glen Kamara 'going for it' or indeed 'an attacking option'? Without doubt, the most negative player Ive ever seen. If he got a penalty he would pass it backward

maccalsa

@David Harrison. Ridiculous comment? No new signings start today. Decent 1st half, miles behind CL class as you would expect but did you actually expect a 0-7 aggregate after the first 2 games? With Liverpool next!! A good mile behind Celtic, struggle to look dangerous in and around the box against the rest of the league Season over, oh wait you have a compelling rebuttal??..... Ridiculous comment................ oh actually you don't

Andy mccrorie

Ref was absolutely honking. Bought it every single time they went down .

Shevy Kapoor

What a honking assessment of the match. The most ridiculous pod I've listened to. "Going for it" with Kamara??!!

Billy McCormack

Was happy with our better performance, but that's 11 goals with no reply is very worrying.

Lewis Wardrope

From where I was sitting, our penalty claim really looked like he’s handled it. But having heard people who had better views of it and then seeing the replay it wasn’t a handball at all. Feel a bit daft for being absolutely furious about it now😂

It’s not really about Kamara, he replaced Davis like for like. Going for it was taking off a defender Tav and bringing an attacker Tillman on.

Colin

Going for it with ten mins to go was about replacing a defender in Tav with a forward in Tillman when he could have used Devine and would have been like for like. I’m not sure that’s all that ridiculous mate?

Sgems90

Plenty of effort, but the teams void of ideas on the pitch and plays slow and uninspiring football of days gone by.

Gregg McKee

Gio absolutely IS a defensive manager (tactically). It’s all well and good picking attack minded players but tactically we don’t play in an attacking manner. It’s about containment. This is proven out with his record in domestic league football which is completely unacceptable.

Scotch

The communication between the players is terrible and the team are all far too quiet on the pitch (except when arguing with the ref). Example.. Barisic not getting a 'man on' shout and being pick pocketed twice. Too focused on their individual game and not looking out/supporting their team mates.

Pedro

Gio as "very, very attacking"? Haha. We played well last night up until the red, up against a very good team. It's not these nights that will cost him his job but the other slaughterings playing with the heart of a mouse and dropped points domestically. Big shout out to McGregor. Excellent. Should be in now.

Grant Thompson

Any plans to crowd fund the incoming uefa fine? GSTK #watp

We're not a good mile behind them though, we're five points behind after a much more difficult start and having played them at their place. We also had four CL qualification games to deal with that they didn't. I get that the OF loss was a sore one and that the team didn't respond in the right way Vs Ajax, but last night we were right in it against a very good side until the red changed the game. How about we give the manager a bit of breathing space to bed in a lot of new players that are either young or have had issues and see what happens when some of our injured players get back?

Angus Mackay

I believe that this season is going to require patience. If we show it, we will eventually be rewarded, if we don't we'll end up spending another big wedge on changing management and trading players. Hopefully we can get Davies on soon, if not hopefully the manager will have the courage to play King (who looks very comfortable) and move Sands into the middle for games like last night where we require legs and cover in midfield. I felt sorry for Sands last night, he dug Goldson out of several holes and the red was down to Lundstram's clumsy challenge as much as anything. Left to himself, I think Sands would have made the tackle, because his timing of those kinds of challenges is generally very good.
