Mr J K Murray

any chance we can just attain to an international manager with pedigree, buying injury-prone players who cannot play, playing players that cannot score never mind provide scoring chances, it just does not add up to a football team

Martin Davies

Ryan Jack at no 10 in the second half is ridiculous. Still relying on Arfield as the right sided attacker is ridiculous. Symptomatic of our awful recruitment and complete lack of longer term planning. Gio stuck with that for nearly 70 mins. We don't look fit, we look shot of confidence, devoid of energy and intensity, and we still lack that killer instinct to put games to bed. I'm concerned.

Stewart Thomson

The chance Kent passed up is actually ridiculous. My biggest fear is we lack players who are clinical, Colak aside I don't trust anyone right now when a chance comes.

William

We have a goal machine in Colak. Why Alfie is not being used as a No 8 to play alongside Colak is puzzling to me, if Colak gets fed chances he will finish a high petcentage of them.

Tav, Goldson, Kent, Morelos, Kamara should’ve been let go: we have this crap for 4 years now:

AGS

Sorry not Kent or Kamara:

Or Morelos

I think our problems go beyond the manager, but people will continue to believe the buck stops at his door. You need to give a man the tools to do the jib, and they haven’t. I don’t believe that the manager has spent all summer dreaming of signing Ben Davies, and that was why Leon King was in the side today. Having said that we should’ve scored more goals today, but the win was the main thing we needed.

Thanks David Adam & Stevie for the postmatch round up. We had to get back on track in the League, which we did. It wasn't pretty, but given what both sides have been through the past few weeks it was never likely to be. They were always going to be stuffy & awkward to play, trying to halt their bad results / beatings. We were not going to be at our scintillating best, full of zip, due to our schedule, squad rotation and prep time. Nor were we going to be debonair and risk taking, we also had to halt our own bad results in the league. So safety first was not a bad tactical decision. We've played a lot of big vital games, expended a lot of mental & emotional energy as well as physical. Had we gone full pelt and got caught with a suckerpunch - does anyone truly think there was enough physical/mental/emotional gas in the tank to go chasing this game to equalise? Then go yet again to win? Always liable to get caught on the counter again and under the increasing pressure of a baying, hostile Ibrox? No, me either! 3 points! First and foremost. Job done. We have the International break to reset, recover and go again.

Sitting in BF5! Today right on the 18 yard line we got lucky today if VAR was in I reckon 2 pens we would have gave away I get to between 5 and 10 games a year win lose or draw that was one of the worst I’ve felt with the team performance coming out the game We could of took a team from the nursing home and they would of played quicker

Rona Bluebell

We were awful. Something needs to change, rank rotten etc, then St Mirren pop up and remind us that anything is possible 😀
