Wait wait wait. It's less per game and the total isn't guaranteed???? So sky could show the 4 old firm games and pay fuck all?

Mark wood

Thats not a photo of Kamara ?

The clubs have accepted this extended deal because of fear. They're scared of losing money. They're scared that if they show all matches on TV/PPV they won't get the bums on seats and all associated matchday revenue. It's turkey's voting for Christmas. (I wrote all this just before David says it's about fear, I'd say great minds think alike, but I'm no-where near David in those stakes). Also the fact that the SPFL have a mechanism to by-pass genuine concerns is disgraceful. But after the Dundee e-mail fiasco are we really surprised?

I assume Celtic are happy to keep the other teams weak and think that if they can get the better of us over the 4 old firm games they will win the league. They have no interest in improving the product.

Simon

Tune!

You test the market and go for competitive procurement for best value. Standard business practice. Shocking stuff. Bizarre approach and anyone with any business experience would question it. Procurement also involves standstill periods where you can challenge the outcome, so transparency. Very odd.

Craig

What a tune! Long time no hear

adam houston

The club should just ban sky from ibrox

It wasn’t a great situation we were in back then, and this fine was probably the price of being able to do business back then. This happens all the time and it’ll happen again. Look at Billy Gilmour transfer for further evidence that it won’t be the last. Celtic wanted this to happen, and anyone who thinks McLennan and Doncaster don’t take their orders from the Celtic boardroom need their heads read. Their play is that the lower the contract, the easier it becomes for the likes of them and us to leave the league. I don’t think there is any Atalantic League imminent, so it’s hard to understand why they could so deluded. It’s sickening what Kamara has had to put up with. The fans need to show their support again and again until we drive the racists from every ground. UEFA are so clearly no longer fit for purpose. They need to be replaced by a body who will hold this behaviour accountable.

I know they've sadly been incorporated into Ashley's empire of tat but I miss the Hummel strips. They were a brand with a real identity, and of course there is the Laudrup connection. I was delighted when they were announced as our new kit supplier. Castore have become annoying now but in an ideal world I like that kind of arrangement for us - an 'outsider' brand where we are their biggest seller. Every man and his dog can have an identikit Nike or adidas kit these days. Our Puma kits were meh but the current Man City home top is a belter. Something along those lines would do nicely for us :-)

Cold war kids blast from the past that tune! Remember me and mrs were refused entry to see them in a gig in Glasgow after both being accused of being too drunk!

When I heard this news earlier made me angry….our board playing part in ripping fans off is spiv-like behaviour…shouldn’t be surprised tho, the whole MyGers thing is also a bleeding fans fry exercise

Awful to hear about Glen Kamara suffering abuse yet again from a fellow professional. I have to take issue with he singling out of Eastern European countries though. Britain has just as big a problem with racism, which permeates every level of our society. Until we accept that, no real progress can be made. We literally have a Government that wants to transport people to Rwanda in excavation for bribes, based on race.
