All goes back to the piggery. We don’t turn up, lose confidence and it’s been a struggle to regain that. I get the levels situation, but that needs to be put to the side in Europe, because Scottish clubs have always had to lift their game in those competitions. We’ve often done that for the past three or four years, and now we have to lift it to a higher tempo. We can play a big part in helping there on Wednesday. We need to stay with the team, and let them know it.

Great flagship show lads. Thanks David & Alan. One thing we had vs St Mirren was an increased tempo, which has been sadly lacking since 55 was secured (barring some parts of some Europa Lge knockout stage games). We continue to play with tempo like Saturday and the performance & results will be similar every time we do. Fashion looked far more focused, with better decision making, so less wasteful and can be a considerable threat & contribution if he keeps that up. Borna, arguably our most consistent player this season, The Sasa 7/10 Award. Its being said its about managing Ridvan, I'd suggest its more Gio managing Borna. Last season most thought Borna was done. But not just yet it seems! So Gio is just continuing to roll that dice while it's still hot! While Borna is doing a good job he's contributing but also putting himself in the shop window for the next stage of his career. While we already have our next stage left back in place ready & waiting to take over. Love the optimism for the Liverpool game guys, my heart is with you but unfortunately not my head. Desire & performance like vs Napoli is required from the team.

The piggery was a freak result. We actually bossed the first 5-10 mins until Kent was caught sleeping for the first goal - and they scored from pretty much all the chances they created. You could play that match back 100 times - even with us playing as badly as we did - and we don't lose that 4-0 again.

We have a hard run of games before the world cup and last nights result Gio needs to win all of them or he is done, i also fear we will get scudded in Italy and lose at home to Ajax and then gain the title of the worst ever team to compete in the Champions League with no points and a record minus goal difference.
