Uefa are basically gangsters extorting money from member clubs.

Russell McGhee

When was the last time we, or any other club weren't fined?

Billy McCormack

Rangers fined by Uefa, oh what a surprise, they may aswell just take money off Rangers at the start of the season, and say this is for every game your involved in ok, thanks, now piss off.

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

And the UEFA fine thing is a joke! They fine you for even the smallest of things. Is this for the beer fund?!

David Herd

It feels like they find a reason to fine us almost every game we play in Europe.

Russell Jones

Very well said on the VAR issues, David. Tin pot, and depressingly so. VAR should go hand in hand with full time refs, period. It seems a scandalous waste of funds without making refs full time, so let us hope that this isn't far behind the technology advances.

What a song, what an album. Dookie - tunes from my youth 🎶

Paul Kerr

Every UEFA fine just makes me think those super league guys weren't that crazy after all.

David Harrison

Davies! 😩 sorry, but our defender is not called Davis

Graeme McLeod

We should be building around Leon King and Alex Lowry for that next 2/3 years, not selling them now. As much as the board want funds to finish that Edmiston House vanity project, selling either - especially given our horrendous recruitment record - would be a backwards step.

Gary Brown

Yep, its Day-vees (like bees) you've been confusing the hell out of me with that Davis patter too🙄😉

Gary Brown

Thanks as ever for the update David, much appreciated 👍👏😊 There's hope for hope for a special night and performance at Ibrox. 🤞 its from our lads. 😳 - no 💩 Fabrizio? That performance from an 18 yr old, in the UCL, vs a rampant Liverpool, at Anfield ? Jeezo Fab, newsworthy is - Why AREN'T your scouts looking at Leon King? But David's overall point is entirely valid, stay, develop in high level competative matches and there is a better chance to improve more than is possible in reserve EPL, Championship or EFL loans. Do a Calvin!

Gentlemen: you are wrong. It’s a West of Scotland thing to say ‘Daveez’. And the way I’m going is that the player himself is under the impression it’s’Day-vis’. So roon yeez 😀

Graham Jones

I’m always for bringing through youth players, but the more this keeps up the louder the noise will become over what the point is in spending the huge amounts on the academy. This isn’t unique to us, but to a lot of clubs around Europe now, and UEFA need to be looking at this more closely. They’re always keen to look at FFP cases, but have failed to flag up what is going on at academy level. At the end of the day if King is offered a big cheque then he’ll want to go, but we can only hope he sees the bigger picture. Regarding Liverpool tomorrow night, we need to contest the game this time. It’s as simple as that. We were passive with out play down there until late in the second half.

Brexit has meant that any young talent in Scotland will be hoovered up by the over-bloated EPL and other English leagues for that matter. It's a depressing fact and meanwhile our administrators and chairmen( Rangers apart) settle for a crumbs from the table Sky deal. Unless we can consistently produce talent and sell on, we face an uphill task to stay competitive in the European arena, just my view but we as a league could be in for a further steep decline.

The UEFA boys love a shakedown more than a bent polis!
