Filed under the type of fixtures we absolutely love, Liverpool arrives bruised after another disappointing EPL result at the weekend.

While confidence at us will be high Jurgen Klopp's and his side will see this game as one they can get things back on track on with, it's up to us to change that.

Alex, Steven and Kevin Preview the 2nd of our back-to-back Group A fixture with the team from the Mersey.

No so much a soap but London’s Burning and the bill was two of my favourites. Still partial to a bit of Corrie tbh 🤣

Have to say guys this argument about the gap annoys me, if football was only about finance we would canter every league game as we are, have been and continue to be miles ahead of every other team bar one in our league. The fact that almost any team on their day can match our finances and ‘quality’ with desire and effort is what fans who want us to have a go refer to. Regardless of the gap in quality or the ultimate result you can always be David and take down a Goliath now and again in the right circumstances. The negativity and defeatist stuff doesn’t resonate with me at all. Nobody says it’s easy or it happens over the course of 50 games but in a one off if the team has belief and grit they can cause problems. Time to have a go in a controlled way as the reality is we also don’t have the quality to sit in for 90 and ride our luck again.
