Just away to listen to this , but has a Rangers manager ever started a home game with only 1 recognised goalscorer against Livingston ? .... Sacking offence for me GVB's over cautious nature won't win titles

james whyte

Hats off to you lads doing this today. I am listening but wouldnt want to have to talk about that shitshow. Again.

Greg

On the bus back to Aberdeen exasperated with this, thanks for providing the soundtrack for me scowling at my own reflection as the countryside speeds past

Gregg

Have backed the manager and hoped we’d be able to limp to the break and reset but sadly if he stays we will be further and further behind. Hope everyone can keep it respectful but fear it’s gonna get very toxic

Alan Cowan

Inevitable car crash. If he's sacked now we have chance to salvage something this season, if not then WE suffer the consequences, he'll still get his money and flash car. So Gio, Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Oscar Foxtrot Foxtrot

Andrew

Please can we just get a mew manager now. I felt like this last season...anyone that says it's gonna be sound now is aff their heed

C. J

David in the pre match said: "hopefully we will try to play through them.. if we go endlessly wide and cross it's going to be very difficult you would assume." 73 crosses. 73. Brutal. Gio out.

AGS

After 55 Tav’s hand should’ve been shook and wished him all the best in the future

Andrew Hind

Missed last 2 games with covid, looks like haven't missed much just GVB getting closer to exit door

Gregg

What tav? The one that was Europa league top scorer last year?

Simon Botterill

Club is rotten apart from the fans. Took my six year old up for his birthday (we live down south). Not only crap on pitch today and more importantly from the manager. Go to club shop afterwards to find his shirt which was due to have name and number on it had been lost, fifteen minutes later with him crying and me trying to keep my cool as we needed to get a flight, someone got him a new one. It sums up the club. Lacks heart, organisation and respect for fans.

Ryan Stewart

Well, well, well. If it isn’t results catching up with performances. A result that absolutely everyone saw coming with the exception of the Rangers board. He should have been gone after the Liverpool embarrassment. Instead we have limped on and inevitably fallen further behind. Ross Wilson can follow him out the door. An absolute shambles from top to bottom

Jojn cunningham

I think it's time for Gio to go, no improvement over the last 6 or 7 weeks.

Pedro

Against Livi "outclassed twice" is sadly spot on. Good, honest pod with no delusion. Glad to hear thus pod guys and that it doesn't have the "ah but unlucky" tone to it. Slightly helps to hear some other Gers seeing where this is heading.

James Anderson

Once the crowd start booing the comedian needs to leave the stage GIO....ITS TIME TO GO. Ryan Kent seemed busy today, not effective, just busier than recent tines Perhaps his escape door was shut this week at Villa

Rona Bluebell

People have no fear playing us. None.

Ewan Christie

Aberdeen will turn us over next weekend and he’ll be gone off the back of that. Problem with that is that we’ll be 7 behind by Sunday evening, and that is a bridge too far.

Graham McCallum

Colin when you see the challenge again it’s a red no doubt about it. His follow through was a shocker

littleboyblu

It’s not just Gio that has to go. Ross Wilson has to shoulder a lot of the blame. The last 3 or 4 ( arguably more) windows have been a shambles. Other than Lundstrum not one player has been brought in to improve the first 11. To many crocks have been bought or retained (Helander, Soutar, Roofe, Jack etc). Whoever the bloke in Belgium is that thinks Sakala & Matondo are football players should never be allowed near a stadium again.

Martin Davies

I've been a backer of Gio up to now but he has to go. 2 defensive midfielders + Arfield in front 3 is far too negative. We wasted 45 mins with no right side. Subs too late. The 2nd half didn't get much better. Players are shot of confidence and shot of fitness. The horseshoe play and aimless crossing is terrible to watch. Time for a change in the dugout.

aldo adens

For me Gio has to go but the thing that annoys me more than the manager and others in senior positions at the club is the majority of the players. I get we look devoid of ideas and its evident we are not as coached as we were or have been in previous campaigns but in previous campaigns apart from 55 season a large group of these players in our squad have went out and took to the field wearing our strip and lacked effort. Think back to ex-managers 1st season came back after break went on a stupid run dropped points lost the title , 2nd season if covid never stoped the game it was only getting worse domestically. Then last season after break again domestically inept performances which our Europa run overshadowed. Then this season away in belgium we were rotten , every game in group stage the same. Game against that lot at there ground the same , away at fir park , home against dundee utd , dundee and today all the same. And the 1 thing that is lacking which should be a non question for any player when putting our jersey on is 100% effort and commitment but take all these instances i have mentiond and think back what was the biggest thing missing 100% effort and commitment. Yes as i said the manager has a lot to answer for with how poor we are looking and that is on him but the players shouldnt need a manger to tell them when to move the ball quicker when to move positions if things are not working out they should kno to do that themselves. Only player you see constantly shouting to up tempo is McGregor and the rest just continue to play lackluster football. If they dont have faith and trust in the instructions they are being asked to carry out from gio then they can still go out and give 100% for the fans instead of phoning it in and making us suffer.

james whyte

Cammy, Mr Bennett stated thats the strongest squad he has seen. So I doubt, changes will be made.

Luke

King went off due to not feeling well according to the rangers review

Graham Ross

Angry Pod and understandable guys.

Callum Dinnen

100%. If they'd played at the tempo and with the urgency they showed in the 7 minutes of stoppage time then we'd have won about 7-1. It's clear the manager isn't getting the best out of the players but I don't believe for a second that he's sending them out and coaching them to play slow, insipid shite every week either. There are 4 or 5 of the squad who have been here at least a year too long.

Douglas Innes

Sorry Cammy Ross Wilson leaving won't change GVB's setting up of a team etc etc ..... they probably both need to go but GVB has to

aldo adens

Or me callum its evident tho the players have lost all faith in this managment team but as i said shocking that they are going out there and not given 100% effort. That annoys me any time i see our players do that and this season its been every game for majority of the squad.

Chris Wight

Brilliantly put Cammy 👏🏻👏🏻 Ross Wilson’s head should be first to roll

Andrew McIntyre

Cammy absolutely nailed it on Ross Wilson. His recruitment has been woefully inadequate and has taken the team backwards over the last two summer windows. There’s also the issue of allowing so many of our most valuable assets to run down their contracts. We got out of jail with Goldson but Morelos and Kent could have raised £25-30m between them if sold at the right time and now appear likely to go for next to nothing. Our trading operating model is about selling players to generate revenue which is then reinvested to improve the squad. He’s failed on both these fronts and needs to go.

mark wyper

Unless Napoli take pity on us come Wednesday night this could be the biggest champions League score ever we are that bad the players don't give a fuck

Robert White

I totally agree Mark, even worrying about that tells us Gio must go as we can't shift an entire squad.

Scott Tolmie

Arfield Davis and tillman all in the same team, sorry not for me.

Billy Forrester

An absolutely lazy, uninterested, diabolical effort from the players today, they are better than this but sadly look shot of any confidence or idea, the worst thing today was the sheer lack of intensity or hard work, they only showed that in the final 7 minutes of injury time and that final 7 minutes should have been the Intensity and tempo we started and continued the game in, they are an over paid over hyped bunch who think they don’t need to work hard. Sadly the Manager carries the can for this and he must go as he cannot motivate or inspire that bunch of clowns and there seems something badly wrong within our club. A complete rebuild is required and gonna be a painful few years ahead I feel.

Ian Milne

Even the ball boys were shite today.

Douglas Hannah

Ridiculous comment considering he captained the team to a European final and was top scorer in the tournament.

Douglas Hannah

Gio and the rest of the Dutch guys must see a different game from the other 49k supporters in the ground, Livi scoring so early leaving them plenty time to turn it around, yet we were treated to another 90 odd minutes of turgid nonsense.

Paul Kerr

Just nowhere near good enough from top to bottom. The warning signs were there. If Tav is declaring himself fit enough to play he has to take the criticism that comes with it. He's the Rangers Captain, expectation comes with the territory. In fairness to young Ross, he's right. The goal difference makes it 5 points. We desperately need a change of approach. Gio has had his chance and hasn't come up with something, we MUST make a change in the dugout as soon as possible. One or two in the club and football operations departments wouldn't go amiss either.

Allan Osborne

Today was the final straw for me. It seems crazy to sack a manager who took us to a penalty kick away from winning a European trophy, a Scottish Cup and almost the league (though losing that from where we were when he took over was criminal) but we have regressed at an alarming rate this season, to the point that today wasn't a shock result. There's no fight in the team, no direction on or off the park and it's getting worse with every passing week. It can't go on, enough is enough. The season is salvageable if we do it now and get the right man in, though how he lifts these players is beyond me. I'm still sick after watching that horror show today.

George Mathieson

Sorry Cammy, but I can’t accept a pumping from any team whether it be Champions league, Europa, or even a friendly. If we are not going sack the manager, maybe Gio should think about getting rid off Vos and Makaay who are obviously not coaching or showing any enthusiasm with the players as they should and get Neil McCann and Kevin Thomson on board who have the love and passion for the club as we fans do. As for Ross Wilson does he just sit and watch You tube videos and think the players he’s signing are good enough from there to play for the famous. As for the game against Napoli if 7 against Liverpool was embarrassing I wonder what is coming next.

Scott Tolmie

Saying Sakala was as bad as Matondo, not a chance

Ian Milne

Just kids obviously but they need to be told the right times to throw the second ball in. Don’t think this was the first time I was annoyed by them this season.

Spoon

👍🏻👌🏻

Adam made a good point about the way we've failed to move on from the 55 squad and the impact it's having on our energy levels - we talk about McGregor, Davis and Arfield, but although they still have a lot to contribute, Tav and Goldson are over 30, and Borna is getting up there too. Almost every key starter from our 55 season is either visibly in decline, getting close to passing their peak, chronically injured, horribly out of form or possibly checked out with their contract winding down. The only players I'd say we've brought in since then who have established themselves as starters are Colak and Lundstram, with Davies on his way now and Lawrence there but for injury. A massive rebuild is needed and Ross Wilson should go for delaying so many big decisions until it's got to this stage, not to mention wasting energy on signings like Ramsey and Diallo.

Derek MacMillan

After the UEFA FFP notice we can't think that we could just blitz the Summer window. In saying that, there's no way I think Gio will have been happy with that Summer window. I don't think Wilson has signed too many passes. Ultimately, from a management point of view he's passed pretty much all the goals set of him. Celtic haven't had many better starts in the league which puts the pressure on. Ultimately in points, we're close to most seasons for this amount of games.

jason hart

Cracking brutally honest pod lads .. no holds barred honest comments and I agree 100% .. Ross Wilson has to be accountable for the decisions and transfers (lack of) he has to go ... a few things I'd like to have touched on (easily go through the whole team and there failings) but 3 stand out points that aren't discussed enough Kent .. our biggest outlay in the current squad .. let's be honest .. he's highly uneffective consistently average hasn't resigned yet plays week in week out .. if he doesn't sign a contract f@ck him off to play with kids as in my opinion we wouldn't miss much but it would send out a massive message to playing staff Tav .. he's no club captain end of Big John .. as brilliant as he was last season he isn't the best on earth and again in my opinion (and this will be hugely controversial) is holding this squad back .. everything goes via him with this shoehorn style and it's becoming very predictable (Dundee stuck a man on him and nullified him) when was the last time we seen big John drive forward and not deliver a sideways pass and kill the momentum I like gio a lot but today just screamed desperation .. they had 1 up today as much as it goes against his playing style (that's a tongue in cheek comment as I still have no fucking idea what his style is) today was the day we play 2 up top from the start I guess another massive question is we have of coaching staff .. we have Mackay one of Europe's finest strikers in his day .. Voss ran the Ajax academy and highly regarded and gio captained the Dutch squad in a world cup final over a 100 caps and won a Dutch title as a manager yet not one Dutch player in that squad .. baffling Liverpool was embarrassing and disgusting but if we stop back it was liverpool and the gulf is just to big but livi at home that's just unforgivable and changes have to be made

Brian McLatchie

So if I got this right both GVB and Tav telling fibs in relation to him not being injured and Ross would have wanted to see a back four of Devine, King, Sands and Yilmaz last wed. On the Tav front looks a bit overweight, has in my opinion shown a lack of desire to get back into position 2nd or 3rd v Liverpool a prime example of that, yesterday's goal more of the same There might be a bit of punching above his weight for last couple of years and it has caught up with him and form wise he has fallen of the cliff back to what we used to see regularly prior to 55 Looking at him this season seeing too much of the performances he used to produce at Tynecastle. Hopefully we can get to the break with no more self inflicted damage and see what we look like after that

Graeme Burns

Why didn’t we do a Livvi to Liverpool?

Tamus

We should have punted Tav after 55 and developed Patterson as a 5 year project. That's what the model is meant to be.

Tom

I've been surprised by the calmness of the podders following recent performances. So glad the Cammy is as angry as I am and prepared to say it...
