Thanks for the update - left Twitter a few days ago, much prefer getting news on my Daily Report 😉

Bill Jones

Sounding a lot fitter today

Paul

Wilson referring to himself in the 3rd person 🤮🤮

Derek MacMillan

The new disabled facilities look very impressive. Realistically I think we'd need to play some home games at Hampden whilst this work was going on. No way would it get done over the Summer.

Gregg

Re the Champions League money - I’m assuming the £17.9m doesn’t include ticketing and hospitality. At £60 a ticket rough estimate that’s £9m gross

David P

Nobody cares about where you park on a match day or how you had your feelings hurt during COVID. As a shareholder you are entitled to ask whatever you want but imo you have some responsibility to be asking a more pertinent question that the majority of the fan base you represent care about. As I say just my opinion but I feel questions around squad investment, Australian friendly and legal challenges brought forward by Elite are more pressing issues.

David P

I make you right on that one David. I understand that these may feel like pressing issues for those that asked these questions but I think you've got to have a bit more self awareness of where you are and the privileged position you are in, to be in front of the powers that be and have the chance to ask them 1 question and that's what they go for. I'm not advocating for anarchy btw I wanted to be a grilling but in a respectful way. I'm annoyed how this AGM went but not surprised this is exactly how I thought it'd go and exactly the type of questions that would get asked because of exactly what you say mate. Don't get me started on Parks 5 year plan comment, sorry I'm just ranting now 😂 Positives Beale 👍.

Rod

Realistically there is only 1 club we should be comparing our finances against and it isn't Norwich.

Rod

Also dont appreciate this attitude of "can't force players to sign new contracts". That's true but if they won't then you sell them so they don't leave for nothing.

drgriffen

Thanks Colin for all the updates.

Rod

Can you imagine a marketing manager saying "sorry boss, not my fault, I can't force people to buy our stuff".

Gregg

You can’t force them to leave either - it’s a 3-way transaction. Thankfully we have moved on from the Jim McLean era

Graham Jones

So, it was another shit show with nothing being said or down that made much sense? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Paul Kerr

From: we desperately need champions league money it will make a huge difference and get us to the next level. To: it's not that much, look what they get

Chris Morrison

Don’t get why putting disabled section behind BF is a good idea especially behind BF1. Surly the view on the pitch is going to be impacted by flags and banners from the section 🤔

Max Todd

Would love to ask a question about the idea of reopening Ibrox railway station for matchdays. It was a ‘thing’ a few years back but all is now quiet. With subway at capacity and future parking restrictions, I’m sure its time will come. Not sure how to ask about this to the board outside of AGM.

Rod

Anyone in any job can be managed out the door if you really want to.

George Joyce

I was the 1 that asked about Alfie and Kents contract. When I said why weren't they moved on in the summer he come out with u need buyers etc blah blah. But we all know agents can put names about to get players a move. If we don't get the right deal or they don't want to go fair enough but should have at least tried and I'm an Alfie fanboy. I'l be gutted when he goes but I expected us to try and move him on last summer when there was no extension agreed

Harvey

If a fan has an issue then of course it should be taken seriously and I'd want any Rangers fan to be able to speak to the club about an issue they are concerned about be that personal or not. I just don't think the AGM is an appropriate setting for issues which can be handled by the SLO or ticket office. ( obviously understand If people feel they've gone down the ticket office route and it's not been solved).

Graeme Homer

Then you’ve left yourself open to further legal issues if you try and “manage them out”. Also we need clubs to bid and the value of them bids to be worth letting them go than holding on to them and leaving on a free and the club confirmed that the bids we did get weren’t acceptable.

Graeme Homer

I get your point however as per the reply you got, we did entertain offers but they weren’t accepted due to them being far too low. I know for fact if the club accepted offers that were far too low the fan base who go mental! Sometime we just have to accept shit happens!

Graeme Homer

They can’t run the trains they’ve got the now, never mind adding additional services and the cost to get them up and running again. It would be a great move to help the traffic, subway etc though.

Gregg

Not sure we’d be seen as an attractive place for other players to come and play if we were “managing out the door” for having the temerity to honour a contract.

George Joyce

The 1's they referred to must have been the Lille 1 and possibly Leeds for kent cause they said we rejected it and then won the league

Max Todd

True but the lines are already there connecting to Central Station. What would be required is the station infrastructure. Tbh… I think it’s unlikely too but it was a serious discussion a few years back but now disappeared.

Luke

*takes false teeth out* “MY GERS!”

Mark wood

Does anyone know what rows will be moved in the copland front to make way for the new accessible area

Declan MacDonald

It was myself that asked RW about his signings and subsequently the board if they believe he’s the right man for the role. In Hindsight, I shouldn’t have mentioned the fees as it went on to give him the easy way out of the question in my opinion. My sources on the fees were transfermarkt. Every fee they have on there for this past summers window seems absolutely spot on with the fees that were reported across various channels. I remember Bacuna being a free transfer at the time but I also had read on twitter around the time that he had left that his agent had received a very handsome fee and there was a few extras to the deal. £2m did seem inflated but then, the accounts did show £5m+ on player registrations for last season. We only signed loans and frees…

Heart and Hand

I thought it was an excellent question. And tbf, as we said on DU, we can only go on the info that is given out. If club don’t make it clear then they can’t be surprised if there are misunderstandings.
