Pissing myself at the line: "I think they're still allowed shoes." Deadpan brilliance.

Rangers fans - why isn’t (insert young players name) getting a chance? We need to give the kids a chance, Ajax model etc Also Rangers fans - that 18 year old that due to injuries went from playing in the Lowland League to week in week out the Champions League in a makeshift defence isn’t good enough. 🤷‍♂️

Was cheered up after Saturday until I listened to this…

Beale knows fine well how much Tillman would cost and whether we have the money (we would I’m sure). Probably wise to keep things vague for the time being

Firstly, congratulations to the Rangers Women's team, great victory and absolutely cracking goals! The way young players are treated, by both fans and the club, over the years remains one of my biggest frustrations as a Rangers fan. Historically we've been poor at giving younger players a real chance to develop and grow into the team, bar a few notable exceptions. The flippant nature of the broader fanbase absolutely doesn't help with this as they apply unrealistic pressures, even for a club like our own. A club of our quality should have the ability to support one or two young players on the park against at least 50% of the league. As support we need to be applauding and encouraging this. I for one think King has done really well, playing against some top tier attacking players. It wasn't perfect, but rarely are many defensive showings by any player. Considering all the circumstances though, I think he's excelled. One thing about it though, is I think it demonstrates that with elite level coaching, young players around 18 are capable of being given runs in the first team. For as well as King has done in his situation, how much better could players show themselves when being put into a team on top. McCann did really well against Dundee Utd and pretty much hasn't been seen since. With a midfield full of 30+ year old players, I'd like to think there would be space to allow him at least 10-15 appearances in the coming season, either starting or from the bench. Similar for players such as King, Devine, Lowry and Lovelace. If you're able to play them in combinations (or if possible all together against the right opponent) you not only bring through young players, but a young base for a team also. In the end we should always be looking to have a win-win situation. They either play well enough to become established with us or play well enough to be sold on for a profit. Ideally for good money, but even if not 'top dollar', for a decent sale to a club that then takes their career forward at their level. This broader picture then hopefully makes other young players (and their families) look at Rangers as a top place to play to develop their careers.

In my opinion there are too many fans who are quick to criticise at Ibrox. Our young players in particular need support and encouragement not abuse and negativity. People who boo the team off at half time because we’re drawing 0-0 should seriously have a look at themselves or stay at home.

Good to hear Leon king signing new deal, he will do well playing in a settled defence with experience playing alongside him

Ronnie Brown

David, can you recommend a dog paw wax brand?

Rona Bluebell

Oh you need to get wee shoes for them. My friend has joules yellow matching coat and boots and they are so cute. 🐕 💛💛

Gregg

Hard enough trying to get wee jacket on Rona - this might be a step too far 😂

Great news on Leon King if it comes to pass. He’s a rare talent to come through, especially in that position on the park. Scotland has not produced a centre half with his potential for a very long time, and we used to produce too many, once upon a time. I found it a strange thing to say that the manager didn’t know where they were going to get the money for him. Does this mean that we went into this deal with the knowledge we were unlikely to afford him, or has he not been told he has the money to sign him. The director of football has surely briefed the man on where these deals stand? I just find that the club has been scaled back in ways we haven;t been told. If thats the case,, then tells us. Stop making it look like we are signing someone at the end of the season and then not signing him. That behaviour is almost on a par with David Murray in his hubris period, where ht would plant stories about players.

Sorry for your loss Scott and I’m glad to hear you’re doing better mate ❤️
