Rangers return to competitive action following the World Cup break with a visit of Hibs to Ibrox.

While it might be the season of giving, the new gaffer will be in no festive mood in the handing out of points.

The Preview is brought to you by Alex, Steven and Kevin.

A wee Hello'Hello there? 😅

Spot on with the youth segment and to be honest I think fans would just like the team more if there were a couple of youth products who are a fixture in the team.

Gregg

Not a fan of Steven Kean then? 😂

No worries if anyone didn't remember the St Mirren game. It was exact same as the many before it. Desperate poor, hardly any chances created and shambles at the back. Same as it has been most of the season. Thank god the board at long last put an end to it. Overdue and only after 99% could see it was needed. Not sure the excuses of injuries and bad luck line had much mileage in it anymore so thank goodness Beale is in now. We were hopeless first time we played Hibs this season. Not just another unlucky game.

Lads, please sort that intro bumper, sounds like it’s been recorded on a cassette 🤣

Great pod gents. I’m optimistic about how Beale is speaking about his plans for the team but I think the idea that the friendly was night and day from recent performances is a bit over enthusiastic. I wasn’t at game but watched it on RTV and for large parts we huffed and puffed passing it square and for all the praise we didn’t carve out a huge amount of quality chances and that for me has been the main thing we have lacked from all the way back to bealeball v1.0. Is this the type of bounce we wanted / expected or did we hope for more ? Tonight’s a big one but I’m not sure some of the praise is realistic regardless of how many nstaunch points it’s getting. I’m kind of bored of the talk about young players, bar the odd anomaly we talk about youth development and go through the motions until they are around 16 then at the point they need first team exposure we start calling hem kids and pretending the need wrapped in bubble wrap. If we have talented guys who are physically there or there about a either get them in the team and playing or love them on. Recent years has seen us cheery pick guys from English teams yet we don’t use them. Lovelace played for Millwall first team ffs and now he’s sitting in our B team with no sign of him being given a chance. When we are desperate for some direct gallusness we should be throwing one of these boys in and seeing what buzz they can generate. Enjoyed the discussion as always, big game tonight and Hibs will be bang up for it. Kev I don’t watch the World Cup either your not alone, if it’s not Rangers why bother!?

I’ve watched bits but I don’t really care who wins or who loses. Glad Rangers are back
