Positives to take away from tonight - Alfie is back, grumpy as ever and scoring goals 🐃 - The fitness, attitude and effort could not be faulted during the game, immediate improvement from anything we’ve seen all season - We played to win, we didn’t play not to get beat - This exact same squad of players would never come back from going behind twice to win - simply would not happen - I can actually listen to a post match interview with our manager without falling asleep 😂

Not very often I feel the need to disagree with a podder - let alone Stevie - on a post, but I thought Ryan Jack was average at best, and got worse as the game went on. Passed the buck whenever he could, and gave the ball away under very little pressure when he tried to use it. What was doubly disappointing is that I thought Jack was excellent on Saturday against Leverkusen, and I’d hoped he’d continue on in the same vein. I’m not his biggest fan, but I thought the biggest difference in midfield in the second half was Glen Kamara. He looked back to his old self, winning the ball back quickly from Hibs and startling wave after wave of Rangers pressure. He choked them out. Big asterisk - I know how awful he’s been since the 55 season. Hopefully he’ll kick on and get back to the player he used to be for us; whether he stays or not.

I thought Jack was great. Kamara too. Difference to them all in confidence second half was palapable.
