Not targeting a goal keeper in January is utterly neglectful

Colin Mathie

I love the optimism Tess, but the league is done.

David Campbell

Our injury situation is a absolute disaster. I would love to hear what the manager really thinks about what he has walked back into just over a year since he left. My own personal opinion is the players under the previous management where in poor condition and the heavy schedule has cost us big time. No disrespect but that's one of the reasons I was for getting beale back we know the standards he would drive from day 1. I think we will limp onto the summer then the real hard work begins getting players back to the levels that we had previously.

Colin Gardner

I'll never concede until its mathematically impossible.Living through Helicopter Sunday has taught me that!

Russ

I saw the tweet update from the presser and manager saying Morelos having a certain physical shape. Have people forgotten what he was like in his early seasons with us? He was L E A N. Go back and have a look, sorry if this sounds like hate for Alfredo but cut the bs.

Alex Downie

Merry Christmas David, hope you have a good one, and thanks for the DU it’s just such a fantastic show,

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David & Tess - always good to hear from you.

Alan

Merry Xmas to all of you.

Bob MacCallum

What makes this injury update more horrifying is that meanwhile Barisic is swanning around on holiday in Croatia, acting like a hero, having played ONE game, talking about stress and fatigue while these guys play through the pain barrier. Get rid in the summer.

Gregg

He was only a young boy when he joined - it’s fair to say he’s filled out a bit since. I think there’s an element of truth in both arguments btw, he does have the coisty arse/ gazza chin but not quite the John hartson gut.

Russ

Aye but back then it was almost a badge of honour, wasn't Dean Saunders playing with a 38 inch waist? Hopefully Alfredo can bang in the goals regardless.

Douglas Innes

Wouldn't be surprised to Mclauchlin start given he's better at coming for crosses etc , maybe see King start with Davies at LB

Dougie

Great to hear from Tess again👏👏👏

Andrew Finlayson

The keepers have been treated so differently, McLaughlin has one shocker of a game and fans never ever want to see him again then on the other hand we’ve got Mcgregor who’s made more mistakes in the last year and a bit than any Rangers keeper i remember, his games at County last season and Liverpool H were worse than anything McLaughlin has done and he continues to make mistakes and barely makes a decent save now, refuses to come for crosses and his kicking is horrendous yet he’s still the No 1 out of the 3. If he had another name he wouldn’t have been seen again after County last season.

Ryan Stewart

Absolutely spot on mate. One bad game and McLaughlin has been completely cast aside. The odd game aside, most of those in Europe McGregor has been awful for the best part of 18 months. Ultimately I don’t think McLaughlin should be our long term No1 but he’s our best option right now imo

Andrew Finlayson

Yep domestically since i’d say that howler against Hearts last season he’s been absolutely dreadful yet gets pass after pass and even a new contract, imagine they give him another year deal. I don’t even remember the last time we beat them with him in goals either.

Jude W

Is it fair to say that that McLaughlin game was worse than any McGregor game though?

Andrew Finlayson

His Ross County performance without question worse in my eyes. 2 incredible blunders and one of them being in the 96th minute costing us points in a tight title race at that point. As i said earlier if he had another name he wouldn’t have been seen again after that game like they’ve effectively done with the No2 since Parkhead but nope he got another year deal.

Gazza G

Totally agree, however maybe greegsy looks the best in training still or dropping him just now might cause headlines and aggro a new manager wants to avoid while he’s settling in?
