So thoughtfully and respectfully done by Iain & Ian.

Listening to the reports from the 2 supporters who had been caught up in the crush on stairway 13 was harrowing, some of the images they described are

unbelievable. As someone who had been at the game with my mate Gibby, we stayed to the end of the game & left via stairway 13. I said my goodbyes to Gibby as I was going straight on to a party in Drumchapel. At the party no one knew about what had happened, TV or radio weren't on, they didn't have a phone. The party came to a halt due to the fog & guests having to get home. I settled down for the night in the spare bedroom, was wakened next morning with the horrific headlines in the Sunday Mail. 1st thought was to find a phone & let my parents know I was ok. As I was walking away from stairway 13 I can only imagine that had I turned around & looked back what carnage I would have witnessed. As the 2 guys on the cast said, there may have been 66 fatalities but there were many more who suffered & probably are still suffering. This date always has special resonance to me.
