Re targets… Matt Ryan (Australian international keeper) is reported to be available for £0.5m from Copenhagen. 30 years old. We could do a lot worse

Graham Roy

Was good seeing us give them a game and shows we can more than compete with them! Disappointed that we didn’t win the game but Beale is certainly going in the right direction with the team! Tactically we were miles ahead of them and let’s hope we continue to improve and a win at parkhead next time!

The Trafford link is an odd one for me. He’s still very young and I can’t see him being a first pick at Rangers after only turning out for Accrington Stanley & Bolton on a regular basis. Though he’s clearly highly rated given he went from my local junior (kids) club Cockermouth to Man City (via Workington & Carlisle) in the space of 4 or 5 years. Having McCrorie and Budinaukas close to either side of Trafford’s age does makes it seem strange to me.

Yesterday was about showing how far off we might be in a cup final against them. Happy with what I saw. Few additions should bring us closer.

David Campbell

Of course it wasn't a pen but the meltdown is wonderful. Remember the league Cup final and we lost a trophy to a goal that shouldn't of stood let's call it 1-1 now timmy 😂 yesterday after the first 30mins we where comfortably the better team. I've seen alot online happy with the point. Our football club we should never be happy with just a point more disappointed we didn't get the 3. I walked away yesterday at the end of the game asking myself have or are we improving I think the answer is yes. There is still vast amounts of work required to get us back on top. That shouldnt be overlooked onto united next weekend and let's just keep building momentum.

RC tonight, Hugh! Everyone knows IFAB are run by masons

Scott Tolmie

I’d genuinely rather go with mccrorrie for 4,5 month and find out if he’s good enough because we all know McGregor is done, if he’s worse than McGregor then you get him off the wages in the summer but at least you have an answer

As someone who also follows Millwall - I used be a season ticket holder at the old Den in my days when I lived in Sarf Landan -I can confirm the Jake Cooper would be a cracking option on a Bosman. He's 6 foot 6 (maybe even taller), 27 and pops up with a few goals as well. Get him and Zak Lovelace in the team, and sing "No-one Likes Us" and Ibrox will be a home-from-home for them. I wonder if Terry Hurlock could be persuaded to get his boots on again as well?

Gregg

If the manager thinks he’s an option - it’s a shout. They do get to see all the goalies in training every day and will have a good idea of the relevant capabilities of them all

Scott Tolmie

My point is 2 things, only giving him games will you find out the answer and 2 stop giving out contracts to guys and then don’t play them, he’s not a kid, give him games and then you will know the answer

Gregg

Aye, think giving him a new contract then he’s a number 3 wasn’t ideal at his age. I do think the coaches/ goalie coaches should have an idea if he’s good enough. Same with the younger outfield guys. Ideally I’d like to see us being in a new goalie in jamuary

David can I get a shout out on tomorrows update I remembered to update my card details this time 😂

Tess

I'm going to go out on a limb here and state, unless there's some serious David Bowie and/or New Order action, that's the best DU tune of 2023.
