All three accents are easy to understand and listen to.

Russell McGhee

Alfie is pivotal to our side. We are far more effective when he plays, fit or not. Colak is a man down as the lone striker, can he play alongside Alfie? He's a great finisher, but tbh I'd rather have Roofe and Alfie up top.

On Malik Tillman, he's my type of player. He can do things that others can't. I've always liked his type of player, but the support in general seem to prefer a grafter, an Alex McDonald rather than a Bobby Russell, if you like. Tillman reminds me of Miko, another who split the support with his, to quote Walter, "economy of movement". The boy can play!

Sakala and Wright - both give 100%, both of limited ability….difference? Sakala tries things that Wright never will. He tries to make a difference, plays with no fear. Wright the complete opposite majority of the time….plays within himself, plays it safe. 1 is a proper rotational option…..the other should be rotated out the door…

Great show folks Have to agree with Andy on both Colak and McLaughlin - both good guys to have in the squad but we need better for first picks in these 2 key positions. Re Sakala's goal - if Kane scored that, everyone would be waxing lyrical about the technique - running at pace, control and volley. It was a thing of beauty. People are quick to judge Kent on his numbers, but the same people ignore Sakala's goals and assists (and in big games too) and focus on his erratic technical skills. They can't have it both ways. Sakala will be a good contributor under Beale.

I was led to believe it is Dave-eez but apparently people in Wales just pronounce it Davis!! I've always just said Davis.

Steven Renton

A minor point I know, but it irritates me. It's Ben Davies, not Ben Davis...pronounced dave-eez not dave-iss. Thanks in advance...

You say Morelos I say Morales

Thanks guys..enjoyed these discussions...agree Alan Mcgregor position is a hard one to fill..Mclaughlin is a good keeper but you miss Alan that game and we don't have the same confidence in John...but Alan is also making us nervous at times..oh the joys of being a Rangers Fan.

Totally agree re Colak. He doesn’t offer us enough up front. Football has moved on from standing around up front waiting to get on the end of balls.
