Derek

Does Cantwell signing mean we won't be keeping Tillman? With Lawrence and Hagi coming back from injury and Kent potentially staying it feels a lot of similar players for that 10 position

Steven McNeil

We don’t tend to play well at Hampden over the last few years, obviously there are a few exceptions. Surely the bigger pitch would help us, but it seems to hinder us. What kind of tactics or players do you think would best fit the Hampden pitch to get the best out of us there?

James Harvey

With Matondo not making recent squads do you anticipate that we will try to move him on?

Zander Staff

Given our record against Aberdeen in the cups how can Rangers approach this differently?

William Martin

Big talk about mcgregor and McLaughlin for the goal keeping situation at rangers just now and going forward on the flag ship but no mention of mccrorie, A) could we go with mccrorie in the summer instead of a buying a new keeper B) if not when does he get a chance as when he’s came in ie against Celtic he’s done well

Ross Hauser

Do you think Roofe will feature in this one?

Alan Weir

Would you agree that faith in Alfredo Morelos is based on hope rather than any recent evidence? Personally, in my near 50 years of support I can’t recall any other player still receiving substantial backing despite an obvious lack of professionalism, fitness, discipline, maturity and general form (particularly in games against Celtic, where Morelos has been borderline woeful.)

Martin Sutherland

How much do you think Beale will be judged on this game? Gerrard had a poor record in the cups and Gio made the Scottish cup look a stroll. How big is this?

Ross Stirling

With 16 points from 18 in his first 6 games, including winning at Pittodrie, Tannadice and not losing to Celtic, has Beale exceeded the initial expectations of when he arrived? And if so do you think he's just got the players playing for him, cause I think it was clear that Gio didn't have the full respect of the dressing room. Love the show, keep up the amazing work!

Colin McPherson

What sort of player turnover would you expect to see in the summer? With the amount of players leaving I feel we need 8/10 in the next 2 windows.

Doug

With the players who’ve arrived since (Lawrence, Tillman) and ones who look likely to arrive soon (Cantwell, Davies), how do you see Hagi’s role evolving within the newly formed midfield/attacking pack?

Chris M

Beale has recently stated that any new arrivals must be instant first team players who can hit the ground running, and grow - not shrink in a rangers jersey. How does this align with proposed players like Cantwell and Davies, who clearly have the talent... Though do they have the mental fortitude to meet the managers requirements. Is this something that we'll always have to weigh up given our place in Scotland etc?

Graeme Robb

If you were in charge of Scottish football, what would you do?

John Palmer

With a visible upturn in form, drive and motivation from the Players. Do you think it's conceivable to say that we can win Silverware this Season, maybe a Cup Double where as under GIO it looked way off and heading for a Trophyless Season.

Damien Stubbs

It’s been/was said on the network many times that Gio was a “cup manager”. Now that we step into a cup competition with Michael Beale are we better or worse off? Story so far with Mick is that we are better of but be interested to hear your guys POV as it’s something I was pondering.

Ronnie Gallacher

Do you think we stick with Jon McLaughlin for the upcoming games as believe he carried the can for the overall team performances against Ajax & Celtic and this has clouded our view with regards to how good a goalkeeper he actually is. For me, yes, he plays, as offers us more in terms of how we want to play under Michael Beale. Yes, he made a mistake at Parkhead however there were plenty of mistakes by the rest of the players in that game and who have not received the same level of criticism. He is more than good enough to see us to the end of the season as outwith Celtic, we are playing jobbers. As an aside, as a fanbase we are too quick to judge and too quick to become negative about certain players or the team in general and this applies to McLaughlin. Also, with regards to player transfers, for the rest of this season, we need to strengthen from the midfield forward, Cantwell & Davies (if they arrive) will make a difference for us and with Lawrence and Hagi due back we will soon have plenty of options middle to front. Goals for me, win 2 cups and reduce the points difference to them. Thanks guys, really enjoy the preview pods, keep up the great work!

Lisel Porch

Matondo…thoughts? I think there’s a player in there but we’re not seeing it yet. He showed great glimpses on pre-season. Is he being played out of position? Has he lost confidence? Will he get a chance under Beale?

Pedro

Hi lads, thanks for your work on the pod. Why do you think us being in a situation again with most prized assets in a position to leave for free in Kent and Morelos? This would not happen across the city and is a sign our 'model' isn't working. Thankfully Goldson stayed but we were in that position again. Saying we got our million quid worth of Morelos missed the point in that we are failing at turning players over for a profit and we can't have big money signings go for free. Hoping wee Kent stays but that's our position now. Big money in for Bassey and Patterson but not sure who is next. Nobody if we are happy to see players enter last year of contract the way we do. Our finances show that the model isn't working as it needs to and the trophy return says we aren't failing to make money at the expense of a full cabinet.

Kirsty Docherty

Given that we've had poor first halves in recent games and Sunday is a one off cup game. Do you expect us to start the game on the front foot, with a good tempo and accurate passing? Or will we need MB to give the team a half time talking too to get them on the winning track?

Gordon Robertson

Is Scottish football's problem a Scottish problem? Ie we are a highly regulated, high tax, low growth country so our football cannot have the riches of other, even similarly sized, countries? Gordon ROBERTSON

Andy

Would mick Beale be our manager had Goldson not been injured against Liverpool ?

Rob Cunninghame

Should we be looking in the Japanese market for players as that mob across the city are doing ?

Piggott

Do you think mclaughlin will keep his place for the aberdeen game? A think he will bring mcgregor back for Aberdeen game but I don't want any of them as number 1 next season Aberdeen fans don't seem happy with Goodwin, do yous think he could end up getting sacked if results don't improve

Derek Main

It’s good to hear that we are actively looking to strengthen our midfield especially with the loss of Stevie Davis, and the much needed clear out. From what I’ve seen of Yilmaz (limited I agree) but it’s my opinion that he has shown all the attributes required to play in a more forward position. Great touch, can pick a pass, not afraid to have a shot, and with his experience at full back I’ve no doubt that he’d put in the hard yards as well. I’d like to hear you’re opinion on this guys and would appreciate any update on his current injury. Buzzing for Sunday already WATP

Gregg

After McGinn having a great game for Hibs against us recently - does Steven think he’s worth a look as back up for tav?

Douglas Wright

Do you see Hagi as potentially a longer term solution of looking for "the passer" type of midfielder as discussed in tactics talk. I think it would be a role which would really suit him and not expose his lack of pace which he has struggled with in a more forward position

Russ

I know it can be a load of crap to some but does celtic out performing their expected points by a fair bit give us hope for the future? I say it because it does kind of reflect what's been happening week to week. Cheers lads. (8 points more than they should have from the graphs I've seen for reference).

Fraser Ritchie

Are there any players in the spfl you think we should be looking at? In recent years the likes of Lewis Ferguson, hickey, Doig have gone on to do very well in Europe. Although we haven’t been too successful recently with the likes of docherty Jordan Jones Greg Stewart and even Scott wright I hate to say. The boy duk from Aberdeen looks decent

Pondo Sinatra

Do you think we will see Beale start to introduce Devine regularly for Tav in the 2nd half of the season, or just sporadically when a game’s in the bag?

Jamie Gartley

Given Aberdeen are the first team Beale has faced for a second time, should we expect some changes from him? I can imagine he’d want to present a new set of tactical challenges for Goodwin especially given the last result was tight

Jon

If hagi comes back firing and plays well for 2-3 months, do you still sign Tillman with what would be most of the budget?

Brett

If Cantwell (or a similar player with in his style signs) do you see us playing a fluid 4141 style? With 1 number 6, 2 forward moving 8’s and 2 fluid 10’s behind a striker? Would give us the chance to get Tillman, Lawrence, Kent and Cantwell on the pitch at the same time - if fit, available and signed with width coming from the full backs.

Brett

Assumption question again but if we sign Cantwell (wide right?), Davies (central mid) and re-sign Kent, going into the summer what would our key areas of transfer focus be to fit the current system?

Steven Lees

With the potential signing of Cantwell will this further reduce opportunities for Lowry? Would like to see Lowry get a run of games rather than a former “wonder kid” who no longer seems to be showing anything? With the league looking gone surely now is the time to try our own talent and see what they can do until the end of the season? We can then readdress in the summer?

John Smith

Any particular SPL players you’d want to get in ?

Martyn Dick

Goalkeeping situation - do you think McCrorie signing a new deal last year is purely about protecting one of our assets or is there a chance he could step up to No 1 or No 2 next season? Also, with Beales attacking style of play, do you think fans put too much emphasis on the goalkeeping position at Rangers? We have had fantastic goalkeepers over the last 35 years so it’s easy to romanticise the position a bit…. It could be valuable in Europe but in domestic games would a combination of McLaughlin / McCrorie be good enough to win silverware?

AmoRangers

Thoughts on the repeated quick fire double goals we're scoring in second halfs? Intentional to kill off games? Why haven't we seen it in years gone by? We've bagged 2 goals in quick time in 4 of the 6 matches under Beale and often had big chances in between goals too.

Gregg

Mcrorie is under his third manager in recent times and he’s not even making the bench. I’d be amazed if he makes it as a rangers keeper

Martyn Dick

That’s why I found it strange when he was offered a new deal….he’s seen very little game time but was ‘linked’ with a move last year. It’s all a bit weird..

Stuart Porter

How do you view Sakala’s long term future at the club? Have we underplayed his role to the team given the consistent numbers he’s provided when given minutes. Worse players have been given longer runs and he’s now beginning to consistently affect games.

Martin Davies

What does success in the current season look like for Michael Beale? The title is pretty much out of reach, but is it fair to expect both cups given the nature of knockout tournaments? Do we need to close the gap on that lot, or do we expect them to pull further ahead given the mess Beale has inherited? I'd like a cup, ideally both but probably unfair to expect both. And I think we need to end the season with a single digit deficit. I won't go as far as saying that would be success, but it would demonstrate progress.

Crawford Aird

Beale hasn’t inherited a mess. He’s inherited an injured team. So should we go for signings of midfield, widemen or another striker? Talk of a new goalkeeper too.

ANDREW CUNNINGHAM

Hi guys again the question I asked last time because of Europe are there any scottish players out there we could get in

Russ

Haha you know what I mean though, might sound crackpot but I do think they're going to the well more than people think.

Ross Murphy

If Cantwell were to come in what impact do you think that would have on Lowry's chances for first-team football? Would it hinder his progress? Thanks

David Speedie

If we get a striker in this month (and keep Alfie) would you flip Ćolak? Can’t see him playing as much under Beale despite having attributes that are handy. He’s 29, scored 14 goals and his stock will never be higher than now, I reckon double our doe and reinvest. Probably harsh but we’ve held onto too many players for too long in recent times imo What says

Gordon Masterton

If we bring in 3 players do we look too move on Lundstrum? This would be possibly the only window we could sell him and get a return! Or are we too short in midfield now with Davis injured to consider it?

Graham Twycross

Who would you start up top. Inured and likely leaving morelos or returning from injury Roofe. Such great options...
