I think you're being fair with the criticism. You can't play a high line with a keeper who doesn't come out, we've seen Mcrorie be willing to sweep up so surely he'd suit the style more? Also David just a devil's advocate sidenote on what you said about the mcrorie challenge on kent yesterday... Fully agree with your misgivings on the yellow and whether it should be red but by that token you'd have to agree with the red for lundstram at hibs ages ago, which I thought was a poor tackle at the time. Only playing the devil haha.

Thing we always say about a Rangers keeper is they need to be able to make that 1 big save in a game and have that concentration, McGregor just doesn’t have that anymore. See their offside goal for how unable he is to block Anymore. Disagree on saying he doesn’t deserve to go out on a run of poor performances, the clubs results go before any players legacy. McLaughlin offers more just now than what we have left in McGregors ability, bar the error at parkhead he’s better with his feet and comes for crosses and gets them. Then we sort it in the summer for the future.

Genuinely can't believe we are still having this Allan McGregor conversation. He shouldn't be Rangers goalkeeper. This was my worry with Beale, he still thinks the players are the same from the 55 season. They aren't.

On the keeper situation. I think McGregor isn’t what he was, but still the best keeper we have. If he wasn’t Alan McGregor and he was a new signing he would be judged on his ability not who he was. Beale and Gio before him both know more than us and see him every day in training so if they think he’s the best option then chances are they are right. Cos if not they risk their job. However in saying that I think we need a whole batch of new keepers for next season to see us move forward

We both think it’s time, I just don’t want sentiment about going out on a low run, which he is already in in my opinion, to be seen a reason to keep him in. Which I don’t think you would want either but you had mentioned it in the update when discussing him, so was saying I’d rather he went now.

I said at the start of the Season the giving Greegs a 1 year deal was a ridiculous decision. It would put comparison pressure on Jon Mac and hamper the development of McCrorie. Just get rid now, he is done

He is done, he cost us the league last season - the 2min SCF sub appearance was his bow out, f*** knows what Harry Potter was thinking giving him a deal in the summer - our transfers in and out are a shambles

Watched the game back today as we had a terrible Hampden view yesterday. All things considered the criticism yesterday is harsh. I thought we played some very good football on a really terrible pitch that suited their more direct style. We were the only team in it from half time onwards. Tillman had some terrific touches, Alfie linked play and was a pest, Sakala gave them problems and Kent was tireless all afternoon. Jack and the two CBs put in really good shifts. Roofe is quality if he can stay on the park. Beale’s done a very good job so far, two or three additional players and our injured players back and we won’t be far away.

The Allan mcgregor situation is a sad one tbh, he should've retired at the end of last season. The decline has been sharp this season and its been really difficult to watch liability might be to strong but he's definitely one of our weak points this season. I find it really difficult to be critical of him.. That's why I would prefer that he was protected take him out the team and put in McLaughlin until the summer.

Lets face it - McGregor gave us plenty warning last season with a few iffy performances but with the Euro run and a Hampden send off, all was forgiven. I cant believe its come to this stage where we are actively wanting him to leave

The criticism of Greegsy is fair & I felt that his time was up last season. A true Rangers great so it's not comfortable to watch him struggle. All that said we all wanted McLaughlin out of the side after a parkhead horror show. The real story is a huge missed opportunity to blood McCrorie in games. A bit of a cluster fuck from the goalkeeping department in all honesty.

McGregor is putting our defence under undue pressure. He doesn’t come off his line for crosses or as a “sweeper keeper” (which he should have for their disallowed goal) He’s also still turning to a statue when the ball goes either side of him. And then the run across the goal line when there’s any sort of looping cross. I suppose I’ve just lost confidence in the McGregor we all knew and loved

We have been spoilt for keepers over the years, so expectations are high, but McGregor is still the best of the bunch we have. Either buy new or we limp on. If the latter, then our defence need to get a grip so less is put on him.

I love Shagger, we all do, however the time was the summer to stop! He shouldn't have been offered a new deal and either someone new, or McLaughlin given the gloves. Every time the ball goes in the box I want to look away, as he just won't come for them!

They can pick the games to days but only after the dates are picked. So the SPFL/SFA assign the dates for matches and then the TV company picks matches and kick-off times in consultation with Police.

There's not many bands who can sound better live and they were one of them. I think they done porrohman On the same night. Seen them in Adelaide a couple of times as well , still good.

Beale talks about getting rid of anxiety in the team, McGregor adds heavily to this, his confidence seems low and he shite deflects his own obvious shortcomings by yelling at those in front of him. Hope this is his final season and we get to remember him as the great keeper he has been.
