Cannot agree on the gk situation at all

Agree 100% with Kev. No need for Hampden. Sell it to Tesco and use Murrayfield for finals or smaller stadiums for non old firm games. Just makes sense. Hampden is a pointless waste of money

James McNeill

Brilliant pod as always. Hampden is an embarrassment, needs to be knocked down and built again. I do like a national stadium as it’s quite unique but there will never be the money to upgrade it to what it needs to be. Barasic is the biggest issue for me, can’t keep on carrying him in big games. Need Yilmaz back asap. January is notoriously bad for value which is think is where our issue is because we don’t have the money to be throwing around. Hopefully at least 3 bodies coming in. Would love to see Lowry given a run of games like Sakala

Gregg

If we went for Cantwell in the summer would he not be after a hefty signing on fee? The differential might not be massive against a prospective fee - given he’s not been playing having six months to find his form could be a real help to both him and the club

Yep One ‘shat the bed’ at parkhead, (whole outfield are forgiven it seems) and thats him binned yet the other keeper has been allowed to have countless mistakes the last year and a bit, lose 6 goals in 40 mins, doesn’t move off his line, distribution is poor and his shot stopping is now below average but he’s still the #1 and ‘best goalie in scotland’ according to the manager as well. Imagine we give Greegs another year, if Beale actually believes that then he will.

Beale ain’t daft. He’s backing a keeper who is on the decline. McGregor ain’t either and he’ll know he isn’t at his best anymore. Perhaps he’s just trying to give him that little bit more confidence to see him through to the end of the season. GK is a standout position to improve and Beale will do that in the summer. For now he’s just trying to squeeze out that last drop of arguably one of the best keepers in this clubs history.

I really enjoyed that, well done gents!! Yet another cracking preview!!!
