We’ve got to look at Raskin and Cantwell playing as many minutes against Partick & Livi in order to get them fully up to speed before the final. In regards to the goalkeeper situation, if McCrorie is fit then I don’t understand why he doesn’t get his chance? He kept two clean sheets in his two appearances last season. One in a european qualifier and one in an old firm derby, both with makeshift defences in front of him. If a striker came in for his first two games and scored two goals, we would all be demanding he starts the next game. I don’t understand why it’s different for a goalkeeper. After all, isn’t that how McGregor broke into the side under PLG? By getting his chance and performing when the first choice(s) didn’t.

He gets a chance every day in training - is he doing enough? You have to earn your chance and he’s not being picked

That’s true. But if we have 3 senior keepers, we can see that 2 of them aren’t doing enough on the park at the moment. We just gave McCrorie a new deal recently, so if he isn’t doing enough in training, then why did we give him a new deal? And if we aren’t going to use him this season, we probably should have loaned him out to get him playing
