Think Laura is right about how some fans would never forgive Beale had we not won today. For me it was a nonsense, boy has plenty time to clear it and there are 3 defenders and a goalie all next to Tilman as we scores. Had it happened to us yes I’d be annoyed but it’s probably be more annoyed that out defence wasn’t switched on to it.

Cannot agree Colin. As much as we want to keep our standard high, we need to start winning trophies and make that our standard. I don’t care if we step on toes to do it, we need to blow everyone away. Everyone hates us in this country, fuck them all. Win at all costs. Our manager showed he is a soft touch today, and he hung Tillman out to dry. He should be ashamed. That itself isn’t befitting of the ‘high standards’ a Rangers manager should hold himself to.

The scum won a LCF with an offside goal. Where was the sportsmanship there? Where was the sportsmanship with the encroachment on the penalty today? The sportsmanship when they time wasted from the first whistle? We need to start winning trophies, the reason the other lot are winning is because they are ruthless, I couldn’t care less if we hand the ball in the net as long as we win. It is only us that remember the offside goal that won them the LCF in 2019, no one else. Is they would have won today no-one would have said ‘aye but the great sportsmanship from Rangers’, we would have been the mugs.

We lost in 2019 by poor refereeing decision.Ill take any dodgy decision as some you get and some you don't.Thats in the heat of the game.The point is,whether you like it or not kicking the ball out and the other team giving it back is part of the game now.The boy was giving it back.

And that remains to be seen. The boy was about to launch the ball up the park. Why give them 75 yards of an advantage when we hit the ball out in their half. It’s a shambles of a decision and Beale is lucky we won in the end cause he would have been under severe pressure if not…but hey we would have won ‘gods sportsmanship’ champions

Jonathan we have differing opinions on this. That's fine however what I did forget to say in my last post regarding the kicking the ball out to allow treatment is is to just put a stop to it.If the referee want to stop play to allow treatment then just restart it with a drop ball.I remember the scum doing last season and not giving us the ball back.So just bin it.

I don't care what other teams would or wouldn't do, we shouldn't be winning games in that manner, well done Michael Beale. If we went out to PARTICK THISTLE it wouldn't be anything to do with that it would be our poor performance again, that's the issue here that needs to be discussed more.

Pathetic allowing they ****s a free goal - the correct decision would have been a free kick to us and the thistle player sent off for a stamp. Wrong decision by Beale - utterly wrong. Did Jobby mcCall give us a free run up the park and goal after they got a 0-1 lead for a hand ball that never was.

Think it was probably the right thing to do but when a manager is always asking his players to be ruthless then asks them to stand aside and let the other team score…seems a big risk to me. Some players will not have liked that from him. Considering we had only put it out cause they had just stamped on our player as well. If we had gone out of the cup then Beale would be struggling big time with the fan base.

Having won the game it was probably just about the right decision to do as we came out unscathed... However if we went out tonight on the back of that I've no doubt my judgement would be different and I don't think we would be awarded the same courtesy had it been the other way round. He's malik, ye knowww, just give bayern the dough!

Beale deserves massive respect for allowing thistle that goal considering how shite we were playing. It was 100% the correct decision, I’d be livid if my club had basically cheated to sneak past a first division team. But we didn’t and won in the correct manner. 💙 I’m more concerned about yet another absolutely dire performance, this squad needs a massive overhaul. 1 good domestic performance in 2 years 🙈

Totally agree with Laura on the point oabout Tillman, My issue is we are in the attacking third of the park our player gets fouled and we put the ball out then the hammer throwers are gonna fuck it back into our box, where’s the advantage. Not our fault oor Malik is too sharp and takes it off there defender. The fans were furious and rightly so

Exactly the same with the game the previous day when the St Mirren boy was sent off and penalty awarded for a handball he knee nothing about. Changed the game when they were giving as good as they got

Some poor comments on the Pod. Cloak’s was not in an unnatural position- where’s it supposed to be? However the comment regarding Beale making a massive error of judgment by allowing Thistle to score unopposed is absolutely ridiculous. We should never judge ourselves by the low standards of others. To say MB would have struggled to get some fans back on side if we hadn’t won is frankly miles out!

Sum really disappointing comments by the podders on this ref allowing thistle to score that goal especially Laura saying MB would have found it difficult to win back fans if the result had gone the other way, total nonsense. I for one would never want to win a game in that manner and Beale showed the epitome of class and everything this club stands for by doing this. Bill Struth and forefathers before him set the standards for which this great club are built upon and yet we now go against them same standards because we have to win at all costs, not for me, we did the correct thing in my humble opinion and that is exactly what sets this club of ours apart. If we had gone out that cup so be it and it would have been because we were not up to standard, not because we rightly gave up a goal for the absolute correct reasons. We are better than this FFS
