Having a great day today

We need a completely new supporters trust, built from the bottom-up, with none of the former protagonists/antagonists involved in running it at a high level. I'm not buying the idea that there is something peculiar about us as a fanbase that prevents us from being able to present a broadly united front when it comes to defending the club, the support and and also working with and existing as a check against the club when necessary. Speaking as an old guy (46) it is time for the young Bears, who have lived through twenty years of us mostly being bullied by the media, spiteful politicians and sadly also Celtic, to step-up and take the fanbase forward.

If he’s wanting to progress into coaching but keep playing I’d love him to do something similar to Tom Huddlestone at Man Utd or Jay Spearing at Liverpool who have coaching roles but also play for the Development/B teams, something that helps the development of the youth players.

"I’m understandably inundated with messages about y’day’s disgraceful scenes in Glasgow," Sturgeon tweeted. "Police still have a job to do, which restrains my comments to some extent - but to say I’m utterly disgusted by the Rangers fans who rampaged through the city would be an understatement. "But mid-pandemic, in a city with cases on the rise, it was also selfish beyond belief. "I’m also angry on behalf of every law abiding citizen. In normal times, the violence & vandalism, & the vile anti-Catholic prejudice that was on display, would have been utterly unacceptable. "People across the country still living under the most difficult restrictions - not able to see family or attend weddings and funerals - are rightly furious at the irresponsible actions of a thuggish minority who seem to care little for the risks they pose to other people.

Angus Gunn is a woeful keeper, but it sounds like a typical Wilson target. I get that we need to sign Scottish players, but can we stick to good ones please. We shouldn’t be dropping standards when searching for a new keeper. Whatever happens this summer, it’s going to be a busy one for Beale, because the management of contracts has been poor so far. Hopefully now we’ll re-sign Kent and Morelos tomorrow to make me look stupid. 🤞😁

Surprised to hear Art Brut on the update. I recall going to see them in essentially a pub venue in Cardiff c. 2004 it was still the first album material.

Chris Chinchilla was still with them when I saw them, they were at the bar before the show, I ended up next to them ordering a pint and we got chatting with Chris and Eddie and had a beer, both really nice guys. Got one of the hand-painted 7" covers of My Little Brother (in fact every piece of vinyl they released)
