The end was coming but the journey there got increasingly bleak as Rangers entered Feb 2015. The arrival of five Newcastle players with Kenny McDowall admitting he had been ordered to pick them; a pathetic Old Firm defeat; and worst of all, that bloody t-shirt. Luckily change would follow...

Does wee jack really wear Cuban heels? I'm pretty sure he was "bawsburst" on rangers media where he had a fair amount of posters eating out of his hand. The way some on that forum acted throughout this sorry time should not be forgotten.

After the lc semi final I had to walk through them around Toryglen to get up to rutherglen and their fans weren’t happy. Lots of green on green arguments, a few fights and most of them were wearing scowls. They had expected to hammer us. I know though that I was relieved to lose by so few.

Re McDowell , I’m like your Dad I remember him for Woods😂 As for his career end at Rangers with the distance of time I wonder whether he was just mentally broken by it all as he had seen it from the start. Pretty telling he has done nothing in football since he probably hated every single person he was having to deal with above him, not every one has the personality of mcCoist. They would probably have sued him for walking out.

Mbabu actually played for our reserve team but couldn’t get past foster and McGregor at rb if I recall correctly, vivid memory of him playing in the Glasgow cup final that year

Thanks again Dave, David, Stuart & Rob great coverage of a bad period. The opening comments make it more than worth listening to the episode. You were all very funny lads, really funny. Gallows humour. In the same vein, why not share the links of the pressers from AllyB in the show notes? Similar to the game highlights (ahem!) of earlier episodes. Vukic was actually half decent, put in the effort, had ability. By this post-Ally, pre-takeover, point, whilst not now able to recall very much about actual things, I do remember how I felt! You know how you see in movies or tv someone being pitched off a very high cliff or building or out a flying plane? They scream long and loud as they plunge and disappear into the distance below. The thing is...you can only scream for so long! In fact less time than it takes to do the drop! So you're there, your death throe scream spent, with nothing but too much time to consider the impending, inevitable and very, very painful, messy finish rushing rapidly towards you - but not quick enough to put you out your misery, just yet!
