Enough is Enough - just put roofe in the bin - pay him off if need be.

Damien Stubbs

Not blowing smoke up your ar*e here David but one thing I will say is that the club should give fan media more 121 player interviews. Obviously great to hear some more insightful questions at pressers by fan media in recent years better than the usual tripe served up but the last days hearing the interviews with you and the other guys it just strikes me that they are so much better than the bog standard guarded interviews you usually hear in msm with the players.

Intriguing song choice Davie. Didn’t think you were down for all the electronic stuff.

Doug

No point paying him off, would be an even bigger waste of money. Despite everything, he repeatedly shows that even if he only plays a handful more games, he's still capable of scoring important goals. Unless someone wants to pay for him or he agrees to go without us having to pay him up, as well having him there for the few games he can play.

Tamus

Wasting money was buying him a club suite and overcoat _ really rate him when fit, but he never is

I've said many things in regards to my opinion of Tavernier and how good a player he has been for Rangers, but one thing I've not touched on previously that occurred to me this week is how he has been a pillar in the club's strive to return to consistency and stability. Tavernier has now been captain for the best part of 5 years. If he sees out his current contract as captain (and there's little reason to think he wont) then he will leave the club having captained us for just shy of 8 years. This will eclipse Richard Gough's over 6 year solid stint in the '90s and make Tavernier the longest consecutively serving Rangers captain since John Greig's 13 years between '65-'78. Loyalty is something that is in ever shortening supply in modern football and should the above pan out (and even to date) I don't see how anyone could deny the loyalty Tavernier has shown the club. These values, alongside the obvious things like trophies, goals and performances are what make players like him worthy of our Hall of Fame.

What did McGregor shout in the background towards Tav?

Gregg

They’ve probably got the good stuff in fairness - can’t blame them

Sandy Maclarty

I loved their song Helicopter and that album. Thought they weren’t as good after that. Did 1 of them not leave if I’m correct?

Berra

Solid take doug, didn't realise by the end of his current that would be 8 years! We will look back on years to come with nothing but fondness for tav.. even the doubters!

Berra

Tav on being inducted into HOF: Congrats to Davo and Greegsy👏 skipper 🫡
