Hi Alan, good luck with the new show, i will be on this every Monday morning. However, the charts you read out for 1978 were infact the charts for this week in 1975. All the best Pal.

Bob MacCallum

Well done, Alan, on the new show. Great idea - especially for me as I'm even older than you! Brings back great memories of guys like DJ plus those songs. PS I have tickets for NEH's H n H show in May. Hope to meet you there in person.

Alan Bradley

Thanks Bob, much appreciated. As you say will hopefully get a chance to meet up at NEH. Sadly after your positive comments, suspect I’ll need to buy you a pint too.

Bob MacCallum

Ta. At least from what I've heard, booze in NEH isn't extortionate! Looking forward to seeing some of the podders in person and putting a face to the voice.

Steve Clark

Just what the dr ordered after yesterday.

Martin Boyd

Motherwell wasn’t that a day and a half😂 Was behind the goal to the left of the stand so managed to avoid the nutters . My Killie supporting mate wanted Rangers kicked out of football after the game , mind you his Dad was a Labour councillor so he wanted them out of football anyway.

Martin Boyd

You might be a year or so out with the charts for 78 though .

Tom McDavid

Good format Alan. Plenty of content for going forward.

Gordon Masterton

Like the format and good tune selection! I like the commentary in the audio that works well.

George Wells

I worked in the offices of Ravencraig at the time of the Motherwell game. An old bloke who worked next to me had a right go at me on the Monday morning. Old Bill was English and supported Motherwell, he sounded as if he was educated at Oxford, very posh and proper. He had led an interesting life in the British Raj in India. He used to run a tea plantation and had some great tales. He was also as deaf as a door post, so the Monday after the Fir Park game he's waiting on me coming in. "Absolute damned disgrace, the worst behaviour I've ever witnessed at a match, the SFA should award us the bloody match etc etc". He couldnt hear me saying to him that I thought the pitch invasion didn't have much effect on the score. What? What's that? he's shouting at me, as a young boy I was embarrassed as almost everyone had stopped to listen to his rant. I said just to finish the conversation "oh alright" . He was raging and shouted back "is it fuck all shite!" Most folk burst out laughing, that only made old deaf Bill worse. It was agreat game, good memories of those times going in the Halfway bus.

Alan Bradley

Brilliant George. Coming from Wishaw I’ve experienced so many Motherwell fan zoomers. A strange shower indeed.

John Walker

Good to see you back Alan although what's going on with 78 no stranglers, clash or siouxsie. 😉. Some Motherwell fans have never got over that one. Might be good to have somebody else with you just to bounce of memories of the games and music with them. Happy to come on as a guest if needed.

Alan Bradley

Ha! thanks pal. I’ll just need to redirect listeners to SSS and WAY for your music choices 😀. Going solo at the moment, but will look at tweaking going forward re guests, possibly from patrons and Podders too. Just make sure when you come on the show, you are ready to answer questions on Tower Bridge Friday afternoon mishaps!!

Joan MacKintosh

Great show Alan. I wouldn't say I'm a big music fan and my memory of games and scores is rubbish so it's good to have wee wake up for the brain cells. Looking forward to the next one.

Alan Bradley

Thanks everyone for all the positive comments, will make a few tweaks to the next episode, adopting that continuous improvement thingy. Much appreciated.
