Hi folks, is there anyway the audio of one’s like this from YouTube could just be a normal post rather than linking to YouTube? Likely the daily updates, car pods etc. It means I need to keep the YouTube app on my phone open and can’t do other things like stare aimlessly at twitter.

I’d personally like us to go 5-3-2 (holding), my Fifa formation. Full backs will go on overlapping runs, the CDM would be stay back on the attack and be a deep lying playmaker, our 2 midfielders would take turns about who joined the attack or maybe both against a compact side, and then we’d have our 2 strikers, a target man and a guy who gets in behind. Gets me wins anyway lol

Hi Ross, I’m not sure this one would work as audio only tbh given how much the Tactical Pad is used. They’ll be a little shorter going forward if that help, this was only meant to be 15-20 minutes!

Yeah, I posted right at the start of the pod and realised as it went on why it had to be on YouTube! Thanks for replying. 👍

Excellent pod gents, great insight and discussion. Can agree more with Ally around how Colak has been pigeonholed, especially by our own support, in terms of what he is as a striker which is crazy given the sample size and disruption to team. Its no surprise to me that when he came into a settled team he scored and looked deadly, now he’s coming back to full fitness and getting some games he is again scoring, we need to give him a run and build around him as far as i am concerned. I also dont think any striker with Sakala can shine as he is far too erratic in his play, can’t argue with his goals recently though. One thing I am concerned about is the idea of going 352 to get more players in the opposing box, I fully agree we need to support the main striker and have a near, middle, far post threat but given how congested defences are in Scotland already it will end up with 16 players in the box and I’m not sure that helps things. The three at the back makes sense but the joy we have been having is in people moving constantly and the ball moving at speed, we need to make sure we are giving the strikers space to move and probably have to accept that some teams will just sit in banks regardless of what we do. Hopefully we will at some point learn when teams are camped in we need to start getting shots off from distance, even just to try and generate some chaos or rebounds for the strikers, we also desperately need more consistent goals across the front 6 or we will continue to struggle, a proper goal scoring midfielder remains a priority for me. For all I have been impressed with the industry and guile of Raskin and Cantwell they look as shot shy as our current players, only Tillman looks like he would be good for double figures regularly. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
