Emmanuel Petite just depressed the bejesus out of me. Not something that I woke up expecting to happen today.

Don’t think 29 is too old for a GK. Not sure we have the funds to pay £5/6m for Johnstone. But I’m hoping GK and number 9 are two positions we are willing to spend on to get quality. Mind you, not sure if Tillman on permanent is a goer so that may impact rest of spending.

Cannot see us spending 3 million odd on a CB when GK and Striker are desperately required along with another midfielder, that’s where the cash will be spent and if Jake Coooer is on a free this summer I think that’s more likely for a left sided CB, we will go for the cheaper option I think when money is most certainly needed spent in bigger priority positions

John Smith

I just read the description and for a brief moment thought “the return of Joe Worrall ?” Lol

Even if we signed and got the best version of Alfie after the summer, it's a gamble every single close season as he comes back out of shape and a shadow of himself. As much as I love the wee guy, we need move on.

If we do keep him, surely any contract must then have some kind of financial penalty if he were to return from ANY break unfit? It’s not as if we don’t have evidence to back up this clause?

Gary Brown

Thanks for the update David👍👏😊 and enjoy your break. Big Sasa - 7 out of 10. But the pre match footage of him on the bus ahead of last year's Legends game! That was an 11 out of 10 performance. Mad for it!😄
