Sounds like the mic is UP David's end🤣🤣

Heart and Hand

Yes, apologies. Our recording software let us down there.

Craig McCrimmon

Tillman is a difference maker and will grow and develop, Kent & Alfie should go to clear wages

Craig McCrimmon

The time has come to move in a new direction

Ron Jeremy

Disagree slightly with Tillman having 2 more games to prove he can do it against Celtic,he has 1 game, the semi final, the league game is a dead rubber, needs to show he can do it when it matters

Russ

Not sure why people are fixated on Tillman and his performances against Celtic. We haven't had a player who consistently turns up against them in years, Kent for a spell maybe but that fell off pretty quick. If people want to punt him for his OF performances then we'd be saying goodbye to the whole squad practically. Don't be seduced by the dark side and their jibes ffs. Good pod lads

Samuel Campbell

Anyone sending threats to Clancy needs to have a long hard look at themselves. Although I don't think he cost us the game despite the poor decisions (our defending did that), the story is now the threats and not the incompetent officials

John Smith

Whoever has been threatening Clancy is only giving the press exactly what they want. They should be ashamed of themselves

David_Davy_Dave

Re Clancy, he is a partner at a major Scottish law firm The idea he has sufficient spare time to be a referee is a nonsense

Martin Davies

Good shout on the quality of the bench on Saturday. Although I would add that we still have a number of first team players injured (Roofe, Lawrence, Davis, Helander and Goldson) or just returning and not fully match fit (Hagi, Yilmaz). That's a fair chunk of the first team squad pretty much unavailable for selection. Some of it (Roofe, Helender) is poor recruitment and decision making, but we have had some awful luck this season and we're still feeling the effects in April.

SFA response in a nutshell … “ha, ha … you dont touch one of our own”

Graham Jones

The SFA are gaslighting the public, but Rangers in particular, when they should be looking at the clear evidence that mistakes were made. even Dermott Gallagher said we should’ve had better from the officials. Clancy is a cheat. You ask any fan from any club, apart from Celtic, they will tell you his behaviour is biased. He’s a well known Celtic supporter, and should surely be on probation for the issues we’ve had with him in the past. But there is one glaring fact we are overlooking in all of this; the man is not good enough to referee in the premier league. The VAR situation is separate from Clancy, because that is more down to intimidation, something the SFA used to gaslight us with this evening. They don’t seem to see the irony. Celtic sent referees out on strike because of their intimidation towards referees. Do we even know if these emails are real, or is it simply because these emails don’t exist, because the Police said they’ve had no complaints on this matter. Someone is telling lies in all of this.

David

I haven't seen any threats. Police Scotland haven't received any complaints. It's probably not real.

C. J

Agreed. Absolutely mentalists are complaining about Tillman. If you don’t want to sign him for the price we can, I think you’re absolutely unable to judge the value in a footballer.

C. J

£4m is a ton of money in most of Europe & most of South American football. A centre half for £4m should stroll the SPFL, I’m sorry lads. England is overpriced & there are infinite examples of the modern market being utilized against the fees bandied about down there.

Brian Rae

The question is this, Is Ben Davies better than a fit Helander? Not even close IMO. We need to be looking at different markets as the English championship is one of the most overpriced and overrated leagues in world football. The recruitment this summer has to be flawless, otherwise, we will still be playing catch up.

Richie

I was showing my Man U supporting mate the highlights and he commented on their 2nd goal that the forward ball to Jota was offside (62.24mins), I must admit I thought that at the time, but no one has mentioned it!?

Gregg

I thought that too - everything is checked when I goal is scored I’d have thought, it is everywhere else

Gary Shaw

I agree that nobody has really covered themselves in glory in these games but the reason Tillman gets it in the neck more is that he’s not our player so we then get to see what he’s like in this environment before we buy him and the evidence so far is there that he can’t produce in this fixture so why then pay 5-6m for him??

Gary Shaw

Ben Davies shit himself for the second goal…you can blatantly see he pulls out the header because he sees Jota out of the corner of his eye and he’s scared that he’s going to take a sore one…I keep hearing that he should’ve headed it out for a corner but his body position is perfect for just heading it out the way with height on it but he’s absolutely shit himself

Moon Man

Obviously, always want to beat them but this might be a blessing in disguise. The league was gone by the time Gio left. The fact that we have been as consistent as we have under Beale has been amazing. There is now ZERO doubt about some of the players (Kent, Alfie) needing moved on.

Gavin Sullivan

You'd expect a Sunday league player to deal with the Ben Davies howler. I don't even think he was trying to retain possession, he didn't want to risk getting hurt. It was cowardness. Shocking.

Colin Wieland

Great pod as ever lads. Beale talks about 5 or 6 new players. We actually need about 10 though and that not going to happen.

Alastair McGeoch

Great pod, well balanced. At the end of the day our own deficiencies as discussed cost us. Kent, Morelos and McGregor have reached the end of the road along with a number of others in the squad such as roofe, Helander, Wright, Matondo, Jack etc. It can also be true that it is clear Clancy refs games with Rangers to his interpretation of the rules (as a number of refs in Scotland do). No way he disallows that goal if it is Kyogo scoring it. It is also surprising how eagle eyed he was with Katic’s shirt pulling in 2019 but couldn’t see multiple instances of it on Saturday…the SFAs response is also comical. We need to get to a level where poor refereeing is unable to impact our results which means a dramatic overhaul of the squad in the summer.

Russ

Because he's 20 years old and has bailed us out a few times in the league already. Let's say he scored a couple of times in defeats to Celtic, is he worth it all of a sudden? How can you say no to a boy who could conceivably get you 20 league goals from midfield next season + assists. We're finally getting consistent in the league, ignore what they're doing, and having players who add quality and numbers is a must. Plus did I say he's 20?

Gordon Watson

Agree. He should’ve put his head through that ball then gone through Jota on the way. What’s worse is Jota also shuts his eyes, one of the softest players on the park that day. I wouldn’t accept that off a teammate, I wouldn’t have accepted that from myself as a player at any level, it’s actually quite basic and comes down to concentration, decision making, conviction and courage.

Gary Shaw

Spot on,Gordon…I said the exact same regarding Jota…when the ball is in the air,Jota actually clamps up in fear because he’s expecting the big centre half to absolutely take everything.

Callum Dinnen

Ryan Jack still getting an easy time of it for the 3rd goal I see.

John

Although kent isn’t consistent the number of games he plays in a row for us will be a miss. Rarely Been injured in the 4 years we’ve had him for
