The rumours have all come to pass. Let's see if investment follows.

Jamie Kirk

Fair to say that next to exit could/should be the medical department? Did previous employers employ people they believed to be good enough but the evidence suggests they mismanage players? Could be they had never dealt with players with such a hectic schedule before? Personally, I believe there is a problem here. I have worked in the fitness industry for 17 years. My gut tells me that the staff are not capable with the demands of the players schedule and are either over training them or mishandling their rest and recovery periods. At elite level sport all the specifics and tiny details make all the difference. I think our medical team must be failing.

If someone tries to buy more than 30% of the shares it triggers the mandatory offer to all shareholders including the fans who own small amounts.

Donald Mackay

Unrelated to the show but on reflecting on the gauntlet of abuse the players had to walk on their way from the stadium entrance to the bus at the last OF game at the Boulevard of Broken Buckie Bottles I wonder if it was related to the absence of Rangers fans in the stadium. The players were the sole focus of the Celtic fans for the ninety minutes and I think this carried over into the vehemence of the unacceptable level of after match abuse. It was far worse than usual I understand. The club should demand assurances that this will not happen again.

Samuel Campbell

Not rangers related but Martha should be one of the biggest bands in the country. Proper pop music not like the shite from Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi etc

Bryan

Up to 20 will leave apparently a lot in jobs that got too comfortable looks like mr Bennett isn’t fucking about

Gregg

That only applies if you are listed - which I don’t think we are anymore.

Gregg

How can we give proper feedback on the candle without knowing what scent it was #candlegate

Andy sawers

Wee bit of Martha, surly hope get harder should have been used this week at one point

Rod

I don't think being listed matters, it's a rule in the takeovers and mergers code that applies to all businesses to protect minority shareholders.

Rose Mcloughlin

Poor David ..I had a infection on both eyes so sat back and just caught up with H&h pods was dying to comment on the candle situation.firstly is she unsympathetic and was hinting maybe as the other lot do it more next old firm game you should lit it and pray..or secondly is she devious and its her favourite scent...either way your gift was def more thought out...so rise above it.. you are 100% in the right to be peeved.😆👍

Rose Mcloughlin

it ofcourse was h&h pods...eyes have drops in them...😉

Leslie Hibbert

Martha! Except, we're cursing trophies at the Brendanbau...

Rod

At this rate Bennett will be having busier summer window than Beale.

Dougie McAllister

After our transfer activity for the champions league last summer I did think then that I thought the board had shown that they had possibly taken Rangers as far as they could, and to get to the next stage we needed to get fresh blood and ideas in.... I'm pleased to see what is happening in the boardroom at this momentin time..

Paul Kerr

Obviously a vision for the first team and how we fund it, but it will be interesting to see what other ideas Bisgrove and the board might have been sitting on. Hopefully the forum is constructive. I don't know anywhere near enough about where Butland is right now to judge him as a player. Like any Rangers keeper it will come down to mentality. We can still attract and pay a very good level of player. Yet we could waste a fortune because they don't have the mentality to do nothing for 89 mins then pull off a worldie. Seems low risk without a fee. Maybe spend a little on a prospect as back up. All I know for sure is that if the new guy, whoever he is, breaks into most supporters top 5 he'll have done alright.

Gregg

I’m not 100% certain and can’t be bothered looking it up but I’m fairly sure it applies to public companies - with some caveats for a small number of private companies under certain conditions. It used to apply to us when we were on AIM but I don’t think it would now.

Gregg

You trolling me 😎 he’ll be vabbing next the deviant 😂

Gordon Smith

Musk bid go to Queens in Kingston. Maybe Todd VA seen him down the local RSC ?

Graham Jones

I just think this is a clear out from top to bottom. They’ve moved on people who run things operationally throughout the club, and I suspect they were given notice to do so. The club needs to operate more fluidly. I’m not sure Dickson’s position will be filled, but possibly split between the CEO and new Sporting Director, if they go with one. I do think the club still needs someone in that position, but maybe not with the exact same remit that Wilson had. I know there were never any rumours of a fall out between Beale and Wilson, but maybe there was a sense of the two positions intersecting in key areas. What may happen is that recruitment gets changed, where Beale takes over the analysis, while any now Sporting Director takes charge of the executing of negotiations from a financial point, as well as, retaining the control of sporting infrastructure. Whatever they do, there has to be a different approach than before to this position than on the continent.

Just watching the youth Cup final on BBC Scotland the commentators were subdued when Rangers went 1-0 up, jubilant when Celtic went 2-1, then gave up any pretence of neutrality by openly saying, "I'm glad Rangers didn't score from that chance". Made excuses for the piss poor goalie even when subbed at half time and constantly accused Rangers players of "going down easily". What happened to BBC neutrality?!? As an expat it's pretty shocking, as the BBC make a big deal of being objective as part of their global brand.
