After a painful season, Rangers victory over Queen of the South had given us an unlikely chance to end the season on a high. The Gers knew that victory over Hibs and Motherwell would see us return to the Premier League. However, despite hopes rising after seeing off the Edinburgh side, the final would be a nightmare.

It was the SPFL that wouldn't let the season ticket holders in for free as they get an unusually large cut of the gate receipts for playoff games. Was very pleased at the club for sticking two fingers up to them.
