**Cliche claxon** getting Lawrence back will be like a new signing

AmoRangers

We've got to get Young Zak into the men's team next season. Lighting it up. That turn and shot off the bar was immense.

Spoon

Hope I am wrong but I would be concerned that banking on Lawerence for a full season of games coming off the injury might be pushing positivity to the max. Think we need to address the number of unavailable players or even inconsistently available players as far as reasonably possible for next season as that was devastating to our start last year. Fingers crossed Lawerence comes back showing half the promise he did when he signed but it’s a gamble banking on it.

Ewan Christie

Absolutely agree that the timing was right to sign Cantwell and Raskin. If we’d left it until the summer I reckon we’d have been blown out the water in terms of wages by clubs from top 5 leagues..

John Smith

Bostock is quality for Notts County

Paul Kerr

Amazing to hear Graeme wanting to help the club where he can. I really wish that was the attitude of all my heroes rather than sticking an oar in from the outside.

David Campbell

Disappointed with butland but these things happen I agree David we can't nor should we be paying a goalkeeper anywhere near 50k per week. I wouldn't even be looking at 30k for him. That said it would be a huge gamble to go with mcrorie as number 1 next year.

Gazza G

A pound a ticket for the women’s title decider if you have a men’s season ticket or my gers.

Scott Tolmie

Hopefully the England games are on somewhere as id like to see Lovelace at this level and to get a better idea about him.

Samuel Campbell

Imagine getting paid 50k a week to train a few hours a day, never play a game and get to travel the world

Graham Jones

I’d completely forgot that we’d signed Lawrence. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess. Graeme Souness would probably do a far better job than outer last DoF. He was a master in the transfer market when a manager. When he signed a dud, he was out the door within six months. We do need that sort of figure around the place again. Walter has been badly missed because his sheer presence was reassuring.

Graham johnston

Duk of Aberdeen looks like he's got the potential to step up a level.

Samuel Campbell

That was over 30 years ago when he was doing that at Rangers though when players and agents didn't have anywhere near the power they have now. He hasn't managed since 2006 I think. He maybe could do a good job but we can't appoint people based on what they did 20 - 30 years ago

Revan1872

Glad Man U are doing us a favour by keeping Butland. I'd be surprised if we ever see Lawrence as a regular starter, given his age, contract and coming back from a bad injury plus 8 months off

Andrew Mathieson

Totally agree I’m not convinced he’s any better than Sakala. Plus the Sheep would want to rinse us to get him

Gregg

Love Souness and all his old stories - however he’s no been in football for a long time and it shows when he’s on sky. He’s in his 70s I think. Hoping we can get a dynamic operating board and think his time has gone.

Paying a keeper over £50k a week? Jeez it’s not 1999 still, is it? :)
