Arfield the only one I would have possibly kept but no issue with him going. Time to move on and get some hungry new guys in the door. Exciting few months ahead.

So we give a player who puts Scotland before playing for Rangers. Unfit and plays approx 50% of games, his style of play the majority of times is sideways/back passing. Instead Arfield who can pass and score goals is allowed to leave and could easily have served a further year as back up.

I’ll always have fond memories. I went from attending too many humiliations in the lower divisions + SPL return to walking out of, for example, Porto + Benfica being disappointed we hadn’t won the game - and feeling we actually deserved the win. But it’s time. A salute to all.

Utter nonsense. Jack is a very different player to Arfield. He will not be expected to play so often this season if they get squad rotation right. A very good player who has a lot to offer on and off the park.

He should be paid on a play basis, as for the fact a different player we have had a team of midfielders for ages and the style of football has been dire. Try sitting mid on and Jacks play is in the main average, his willingness to put country before teddies?

Arfield CAN'T pass, unless a 5 yard sideways counts. As for goals, most of his shots are like passbacks to the keeper or off target. Waste of a jersey. I'd have been furious if he'd got an extension.

Leslie, there is no such thing as a per-pay-play deal. It’s an invention of FF. Jack’s basic has been significantly reduced and he may have bonuses for certain appearance figures but it isn’t possible to sign someone and only pay them if they play.

David have u heard anything about us letting Kents contract expire him to leave the club and then us offering him a contract so we don't have to pay money to Liverpool? ( I thought it might be to get rid of any potential sell on) would have dismissed it as pish had the boys info not been spot on before

Happy with the announcement today, personally wouldn’t have kept any of them. Beale made a point at the presser today which I found really interesting. He mentioned about it being important to allow the new players to come in with no shadows around them and I agree. We can’t have another McLaughlin/McGregor situation where anytime the new guy makes a mistake we want to run back to the old guard again

Unfortunately, not all that much since. I love the man, but we’ve got to move forward. Ryan Jack still starts for rangers and, I imagine, that will shift now to more of a rotation role. Scotty is already rotation and that role will continue to get smaller. At his age, he needs to play games and he can offer more than that at a number of clubs in Scotland and wider afield.
