Saturday sees the 2023 Champions League final take place in Turkey, with much fancied Man City facing off against an Inter side who, though historically bigger, face an uphill battle against Pep Guardiola's team. James is joined by David and Adam to look ahead to the final, why City could be on the cusp of years of dominance in this competition, what got both clubs to Istanbul and who Simone Inzaghi can pick to cause an upset.

Thanks gents some good incites. I kinda buck the trend with my attitude to City. Met some City fans 30 odd years ago on holiday and we've since had regular reciprocal trips to watch each other's teams. Stood in the Kippax many times and been in the Etihad 3 in 4 times a season since it opened. I therefore don't really get the 'plastic' bit. There are undoubtedly a lot of football tourists nowadays but I found that in London and Liverpool as well. The guys I know are as genuine football fans as you'll get. Followed their team through some reallt shitty times and are enjoying the other side of the game now. Like other English supports they suffer from a minor Tim infestation but more than a few bluenoses a in there and a generelly more unionist leaning than you get from Liverpool or United. Again get the oil money jibes but we'd all take it. To pretend otherwise is daft. On the pitch they're the best team I've watched in my time. If you see them in the flesh what they do off the ball is every bit as impressive as what they do on it. Absolutely suffocate really high quality sides. In games where Rangers have no skin in it I always hope the best team wins. That's undoubtedly City in this one. Anyone can win a one-off game though and Inter are no mugs. There is always the Pep having too much time to think about it factor as well. Agree City will likely have too much in the locker for Inter to handle though. Hope so to be honest.

Don’t hear about united fans complaining about their club being bought off the scrap heap after 41 years without a trophy and being bankrolled to success by a businessman, the ying and the yang of sport eh. United twice over owe their existence to the benevolence of City, but yeah City are ‘plastic’.
