David joined Martyn in 2018 to look back at a group game that saw the hosts move gears but had a moment that could have easily changed history. There's also the appearance of Scot Van Den Akker as he recounts his time with the Tartan Army in Bordeaux.

Good listen brings back memories. I went to that world cup with 3 other bears, no tims in our car.. stayed in Chantilly for the Brazil game then travelled down to Bordeaux and then up to st ettiene. Only got into one match ( morroco) . All in all we enjoyed ourselves but Scotland were pish and haven't been back to see them since Always remember going over to San Sebastian as well to watch the Spain/ Nigeria game when they got humped and recall how happy the locals were ( Basque) at the result. I had been there in 85 to watch the gers in osasunna and it was the reaction I expected.
