Not happy if Hagi is sold. The guys scores goals and makes assists. We have had a major shortage of that since he's been out.

Colin Mathie

Selling Hagi would be unfair, its not his fault he got a really bad injury.

Martin Boyd

Not really the point fair or otherwise it’s a business we need funds in and he is surplus to requirements.

Bryan

I think with Hagi we ultimately need to do what’s best for the player and if game times limited it could really stall his careers

Joe Baxter

You rattle of the players we have brought in that play in the Hagi position but you don't say if you think they will be better players , I hope that is the case but I would still keep Hagi ,

Ryan Stewart

I’ve always liked Hagi but id be snapping the hand off anyone offering the potential fees mentioned. Lots of players to play in that position and that money could be better spent elsewhere ie Danilo

Jock Wallace

Can't believe you didn't give a shout out to those ungrateful colonials ps Happy Treason Day

Russ

I'm probably in the minority but if anything over £10m came in from Saudi for Tav I'd take it and laugh, not that I think he's bad but that money at his age is something you couldn't say no to, the chance to reinvest that money with a new-ish manager would be huge. I don't get the push back against it?

Stephen

I would be happy with that kind of money if that was the case. Not sure how much we would get for him. Tav won’t be able to keep that level of energy up for much longer so maybe its time for us to get some money for him.

LD

One of the questions to be asked about Hagi, does he want to stay or go? I reckon if the right offer came in he would want to go, if for no other reason, his international career. More than once it's been talked about how the Scottish League isn't good enough for him to be picked for his country.

Gregg

Serious cash would be hard to refuse at his age - both for the player and the club. I think his fitness/ energy will surprise people. Reason being he didn’t have many games on the clock before joining us, different to a player whose been playing week in week out since 18 for example.

Gregg

Hagi would be bittersweet - really like him as a player. Has an eye for a pass and he’s a good finisher. That said, when building a squad hard decisions need to be made, we can’t expect teams just to sign the players we want rid of sadly. Something we’ve been poor at recently

Russ

Aahh, I agree on not refusing the cash but in terms of playing games he's averaged a shade over 50 games a season for us. It's a testament to his fitness but we have used him like a bar of soap in the last 2 seasons and it's showing a little bit, regardless of g/a. I'd be happy to keep him if we just took his games down to 40 going forward, there's no reason why Sterling or Devine can't share 15-20 starts between them in a 60 game season. It's a squad game.

Gregg

Don’t disagree with that - might be more effective at the latter end of season with a few games rest. Be interested to see if we change up formations at points too

Robbie McCarroll

I agree put Hagi in a team with reliable goal scorers and he will be top assists in the league…

David Innes

I’m starting to get a bit concerned about the lack of homegrown players in the squad. It’s a legacy of Ross Wilson’s failed transfer strategy (letting attainable targets slip through our fingers that are now thriving in Italy) that we are in this position but as things stand we’re going to need to leave a few first team players out of the European squad which is clearly not a position we want to be in.

Brian Rae

At least Gerrard will be closer to his family now. 🙄 On Hagi, I would be keeping him this season as we could still get a decent fee next season if it doesn't work out.(I think it will though)

Andrew Hillis

Excellent pod Davie! Gerrard can afford to buy anyone so I doubt he’ll be in for any of our players. Hagi has been decent by lacks the pace and threat we need to return the paedovillians to their rightful 2nd place spot! Love Butland already - sounds hungry and will provide confidence and leadership at the back! God only knows what the hell is going on across at the other side of the city with the ‘I would eat myself if I was chocolate’ tranny pumper in charge! 🤣🤣 Enjoy your trip! WATP!

Are the club going to tenerife or Portugal this summer for training
