With Simon away on his holidays, James hosts Grant, Zander and Andy as the guys discuss the latest happenings on our transfer activity. Cyriel Dessers is set to be announced imminently, whilst interest remains in Danilo, Jonathan Panzo and Jose Cifuentes.

No players have as yet moved out but players such as Hagi and Kamara are being linked with moves away. And could Steven Gerrard's new appointment mean players could look for a reunion in Saudi Arabia?

We also hear some interesting suggestions from the boys about players not yet linked with Rangers who they think would be good signings. Who would you like to see us sign from the suggestions made? Who else would you like to see us linked with?

I find myself agreeing with Andy on Cifuentes. Something not quite ringing true about it at the moment. I learned a long time ago not to go off half-cocked on new signings

John Davidson

Very interesting listening. Impressed with the podders knowledge of players in other leagues, particularly Andy's inside information on Israel. This is a market we need to shop in.

In regards to LAFC fixtures, the MLS pauses for a month as they start their Leagues Cup competition which involves MLS and Liga MX.

Colak didn’t start against Celtic for a reason, he can’t do that role, I would get rid in a heartbeat, good goal scorer but not the type we need and too one dimensional. Get our money back and move him out is a no brainer along with sakala and matondo, not good enough to win us back the league

Billy Forrester

So zander would bring a West Ham player in on loan to start ahead of Raskin, never heard as much rubbish in all my life 🤦‍♂️ Raskin is gonna be huge for us this season and isn’t here to sit on a bench for a loan player who we are never going to own

U did allude to it 🤣. Our midfield once cifuentes arrives will be very strong and we also have Lawrence available now so don’t think it’s an area we need to add to, especially with a loan player we have no chance of ever owning.

You can never be sure how transfers will go, how players will play when they return from long injuries etc. We plan on playing a lot of football next season and a midfielder on loan who is by no means a project player wouldn’t be the worst idea

I’m not a fan of loans, especially if no option to buy, why develop for others. Just my opinion
