Celtic will knock back 700 they have already told there fans that last season

Would be happy if the allocation went to c. 1500 for them at ibrox and c.1800 for us at Parkhead. Not sure how the logistics would work though.

Refreshing to hear someone call MyGers what it is, a loyalty scheme. It was never a membership scheme, which would’ve had value to the overseas bears, and those who can’t get to games often enough because of work. I understand what people are talking about regarding atmosphere at OF games, but the clubs first priority is to our fans. The way our support get treated at the piggery is disgraceful anyway, so why anyone would want to put themselves through that is beyond me. But let’s be clear, this whole game with where and how many away fans sit was started by that lot years ago. They shoved us into a corner out of sight deliberately, and they through the dummy out when we did it to them. The. Ball has been in their court on this one for years, so I say fuck them.

I feel the same way. The counter I suppose would be us not getting to celebrate at the Pedodome and not getting to laugh at them when we’re beating them at Ibrox. But yeah I’d have to say I agree

The other thing is I think not having away fans ensures a much safer match day experience. I remember my parents were always hesitant about me going to the old firm and I was practically barred from Parkhead, which I’ve never been to anyway. Definitely for families wanting to experience this fixture it’s a hell of a lot better set up

There's an easy solution to the ticketing issue. All those calling for increased allocation give up their ticket for the match so a displaced fan can sit in it during the game. There's something pretty scummy in expecting other people to lose their seats just so you can have better chance of a ticket at the Piggery.

We cannot give Celtic 2, 3k tickets guys. We’ve sold out 45,000 season tickets so there’s no room.

On the mygers points.... I have been in Australia for the past couple of years. My friend has been using my season ticket and not missed a game, I have applied for all away games. I contributed to the museum and I have purchased RTV international sub for the past two years and I have gone down from silver to bronze. So I am very sekeptical about the allocation of points and also feel that people are buying their way up the ladder... Buying womans season tickets, B team season tickets and not attending etc. I don't have an issue with people having the money to throw away on stuff they don't use, however I think it's unfair on people who simply can't afford to pay for all the stuff and then get penalised.

Hey mate I’ve been a big fan of a membership scheme for years. Living in Oz too, there’s a huge support who want to feel a connection with the club and want to be a signed and paid up member. I was pleased to see this scheme announced but unfortunately it has failed to deliver. MyGers is just a scam. It’s introduction means international fans now have less opportunities for tickets whenever we return to UK. It offers no value or benefits whatsoever for international supporters. It’s a cash grab without even having the benefit of being able to get tickets like there is for domestic supporters. I’ve given up on it. No point signing up for a ticket tax when you can’t get tickets.

Might be worth contacting the club about this and suggesting how this could be amended. Disenfranchising international fans is not great

I wouldn’t David but we have c. 47k season ticket holders - there are therefore c. 3k tickets available. Appreciate this is going to impact fans who buy tickets per game - it has always been this way though.
