Looking forward to this. I can see in the archives a show with Mark Dingwall on the beginning of Follow Follow but only appears to be part 2. Is there a part 1 available for it that can be added to the archives?

STEPHEN MCCURDY

As a listener since the very start this is a great idea for a show. Looking forward to listening

Bring back Scott

ali t

Thats true.....no idea why he left....assumed he left by his own choice as opposed to he was Fritzelled by the Overlord

Lynsey Roddy

Absolutely loved this! I only ‘discovered’ podcasts in 2019 so this has answered so many of the questions I had about this one. Looking forward to the next part! P.S I loved the ‘let’s see where the night goes’ line from David as it’s a fabulous song I only know because he used it on the daily update once.

Calum Robertson

Good show lads on the sites early years, David due to the growing media profile of the pod was there any problems from the club regarding the record unpleasantness a few years back and the reaction of the fans in the massive show of support in the H&H community ?

Heart and Hand

We’ll talk about it next week but the club were very supportive. Never gave us any hassle and in fact people who work at the club were there for us.

Heart and Hand

I doubt it to be honest. We lost a lot of old files due to a corrupted storage device. I’ll have a look though.

Gregg

Brilliant show - really enjoyed that. What day and time will the next one be out?? 😂😂 On new pods - one on supporters tales from euro always would be good. Names may need to be changed to protect the innocent

Colin Gardner

Great insight to the beginnings. I never knew about the actual podcast until what happened a few years ago in the DR.Really interested to hear your views on that.

steven kerr

Great listen guys. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say being a subscriber to heart and hand has enhanced my enjoyment of supporting rangers especially in the lower leagues when we really didn't have much on the pitch to keep us entertained. Then again when we won 55 and couldn't actually go to the games. Heart and hand again was there to keep us connected to the team and our fellow fans. A heart felt thanks for it all. Looking forward to the new season with real optimism and hearing what you guys think along the way WATP

Hoggy

Gregg. I will give this a bash. A listeners show, about the listeners and their own experiences. It’s a bit of a Hamper offshoot concept - I’ll reach out to the community and give it a whirl. If you fancy talking offline about it - hoggy@heartandhand.co.uk

Colin gray

Where's Scot these days? He's disappeared of twitter as well

Gregg

Good man hoggy - there must be some brilliant tales. The boy that done the euro trips by rail was brilliant on the hamper if I remember right.

Steven L

Mind when you said you’d call everyone that signed up……….. still waiting davie still waiting

Gordon Smith

I still have early episodes on an old MP3. Got to say it was the balance between David and Scot that sustained the show in the early years.

Hoggy

Aye. He went to Eastern Europe twice in the 80s. Mad man.

Stace1ofthePeople

I totally get the colak debate however he scored 17 goals in half a season.... I don't think any of our players have scored more than that in the last few years? When lack of goals has literally been our downfall and killed our title hopes the last couple seasons I think it's so so brave to get rid of a finisher like tony. I know beale is the manager and has a style and apparently the narrative is Tony doesn't suit his game plan etc but my god I am hoping our new players can bang in goals. We would have been better selling roofe than Tony. Roofe is never available

Steven Robertson

Excellent Pod guys, really looking forward to the second one on this. I've been an avid listener since episode one, the banter years included and its got me through a few difficult times in my life, keep up the good work.

Michael Scott

Loved listening to how everything began would be interesting to here the pods from when you first started or would that get people arrested 😂 look forward to the next show !

Damien Stubbs

This is excellent. Well played both. Makes me shudder hearing about David’s comfortability with being so unplanned, maverick. Epic that it’s worked out and huge kudos for not changing mate. Couple of random questions to help you guys out if you’re looking for some:- Q. If this wasn’t what you did, what would you do everyday? Q. Do you have any inclination on players/staff etc that are listeners? Be great to hear you riff on that. Q. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing, would you have changed anything? All the best gents

Laura McCrimmon

Great show guys, loved this. I used to only get to listen when in the car with hubby or the free show. I got bored constantly asking hubby to listen so just got my own subscription a few years back and I now listen every day to many of the shows. Even our 7 year old daughter will ask for the daily update or as she describes you lately David, can we listen to the man that swears alot 🤣🤣🤣 this was after she listened to the car pod after the semi final against that mob and if u let one slip in th DU she will say see mummy I told u 😂

Craig Skinner

I regularly recall the panic with so many listeners regarding the volume of content & the fact it might dilute the shows core values. Obviously it would be difficult to listen to all the shows but the balance imho is tremendous. More importantly however is the core values being maintained & the fact that we the listeners actually do still feel part of the community. A huge part of this bears daily life & looking forward to listening to many more of the same.

Alan Bradley

Nice one. From talking to Craig, he tends to be in the car far too often, usually with all these Rangers legends. Thankfully I never swear on pods. 🫢

Laura McCrimmon

Ha Alan, yes he's one lucky bugger getting to spend time with many of those guys. And the odd swear word from you always makes me laugh. I love your shows too music and football my 2 favourite things 😀

Martin Boyd

Great idea for a show and an interesting insight into how it all works, probably like a swan though with lots of frantic paddling. Best £3.99 I spend a month. Like you say you don’t have to listen to everything but will always find something to take your interest.

William Electricity

Great listening to this! Still laugh thinking back to the time I sent in a question to the Advocaat Years Q&A and was basically told I wasn't getting any more questions answered until I changed my name😂

Steve Clark

2012 was really tough for me personally,my dad passed away and the shitshow that was Rangers was on going.having heart and hand to listen to with David and Scott got me through some dark times and made me laugh when I badly needed to and also that every rangers fan was going through the same as I was. Not a day goes bye when I don’t listen to something on h&h and quite frankly being a rangers supporter wouldn’t be the same without the network. P.S where’s my phonecall😜

James McSween

Could we not a have wee series with some of the early pods pre patreon released just like the way you put some of the early patreon archive up.

Fraser McMinigal

You’ll need to do a part 3 for this. What’s been the thing that made you laugh the most? I remember spires of the week. When listeners started sending in pictures of there other half’s in the nude. My favourite was the infamous discussion on ice docking. Scott said “all I’m saying is if you Google….. you’ll see some results” And David dead pan said “yeah that’s how Google works” I laughed so hard I woke the whole house up.

Mark

It was nice that Cammy was so concerned about lack of potential news for the pod that he decided to generate some himself!

Sharon Craig

Can I just say not many things in life could have a mother and son discussing the life of a dominatrix. Keep up the good work lads n lassies, first class from you all ❤️🤍💙

Grant Watson

Great show. I absolutely loved the early days with David & Scott. Taught me quite a few things, Ice Docking etc. (Not literally!). Would be lost without H&H now. Impossible to listen to everything, but never miss the daily update, flagship, tactics, car pods etc. Also just finished the Ally series & working my through the rest. Best 2 or 3 pound I spend which is absolutely nothing when you consider the price of everything else in the world nowadays!

Dave Fleming

Great idea for a Pod (In fact I was going to suggest it!). Two questions for the next one if you can. How did you settle on the name , and what alternatives did you consider? Where did the title music come from?

Stephen

Great show. It’s weird for me that I’m driving to work in Houston Tx, listening to Rangers news daily. It must be weirder for you.

Rona Bluebell

Great listen and fascinating. I have a pod idea. Relationship and life advice from Andy McGowan. You could call it ‘Hand on Heart’. Comes with a ready range of sound bites, including ‘get a grip’, ‘grow a pair’, and ‘I refuse to answer that’. 😀
